You will have to wait quite a while for this ramen but it is worth the wait! One of the best bowls I’ve had around the boston area. You look at the menu before hand and add your name to a waitlist- a few minutes before you are seated you will give your order to the hostess so your wait at the table is minimized. Every bowl i’ve had here is delicious! The chicken karaage is alright, nothing special. I personally feel you can skip :)

Amazing ramen. Sometimes there is a wait because it’s so good. A little pricey but well worth it.

I really enjoyed the fried sides and ramen here. There may be a wait and seating is limited, but the little restaurant is inside a shopping arcade, which isn’t too bad a place to wait. They take your order first so by the time your seat is ready, the food comes out relatively quickly. It’s a pretty efficient process.
Both the kara-age and fried octopus were freshly fried. The original style of kara-age was plenty crispy and the chicken inside was hot and juicy. It was delicious dipped in the garlic ponzu sauce. The fried octopus with chili peppers was crispy and chewy with a pleasant spiciness that lingers on the tongue.
As for the ramen, they use the curly chewy noodles I really like. The broth for the Shoyu 1910 had a fragrant soy sauce flavor that wasn’t too overpowering. The pork belly chashu was so tender it practically dissolved when eaten. The Karai Shoyu was satisfyingly spicy, but the broth was a bit too greasy to drink.
It’s been ages since I’ve visited Japan, but I imagine this is the kind of ramen they would serve there. For that extra authentic feeling, the servers here thank you loudly in Japanese when you’re leaving.

Long ….. long wait. Not worthy. Noodle just average. $30 per person. Will never come back here again. Waste of money, and time

Classic ramen spot but one of my favorite ramens in all of Boston. I think the broths can be a little heavy but there’s a bunch of different options. However, I absolutely love the quality of their noddles they’re springy and have a good chew to them. As try the karage the dipping sauces are very good. However, I absolutely HATE the way that they do the line/wait etc, it feels extremely inefficient. So moral of the story, go early, or late, but avoid the rush.

Great ramen shop. Have been here multiple times alone, with family and friends. Different choices of broth for you to try. Each is unique. Will return!

Really disappointing experience and will NEVER return.
When I arrived, the hostess asked if my whole party was present. I said yes and pointed to my partner with our toddler, who were right next door at the shop—clearly visible. I then asked about the wait time and was told 30 minutes, which was fine.
After waiting 40 minutes, I checked back, only to be told that because we weren’t “present,” she never actually put us on the list. We had been standing right in front of her the entire time. When I asked to speak to the manager, she said she was the manager—and that she could add us to the list now, but it would be another 30 minutes.
A reasonable response would’ve been to acknowledge the mistake and offer us the next available table, not make us start the wait all over again.

Presentation of the food was good. However the broth lacked depth of flavor. Wouldn’t return

Reminds me of a real Japanese Ramen place in Japan except even more crowded.
One of two Japanese servers greeted you with the Japanese way of saying welcome. And this place is buzzing…. Counter seatings are tight with maybe 6 spots. Then they only have about 4 tables inside and another 3 tables in the arcade/mall.
Lines out the door. But get through in about ~15 to 20 minutes if you don’t mind waiting.
Really good ramen, good portion, spicy one is really spicy…. I’m talking about sweating outside of your skull and dripping down your scalp kind of spicy. Both the half poached egg and cha-siu (sliced pork) are well made. The traditional sliced shoots too.
All in all a great place to dine if you don’t mind waiting.

Great place. They don’t do take out ok weekends. Make sure you come and be in the line using their website booking line. Was very frustrating to wait 10min to discover that you’d have to wait 50min to get seated. Be sure to be on the front desk guys neck so you get your seat, he works super hard but is difficult to keep track of the line order due to nature of the business. After seating in comfortably with 4 people + 1 baby, the experience was super great! It came super fast and the food was delicious! I had a soy ramen and my wife had the tan tan ramen. Very good ones btw!

Maybe we just got unlucky today.
The food was average maybe because they kinda forgot about our order initially.
3 times of waiting - first, just for the table, second, we were asked about our food choices but we’re not sat down, third, after we got our table - we were still waiting for our food. The same applies to the service - didn’t really apologize for the wait.

This place is always very busy so prepare to wait a while. The food comes out very quickly once you are seated - they have an efficient system to rapidly shuffle people in and out. The ramen itself is good but not amazing
