This is my favorite bakery in Boston. If you have a soft spot for Japanese patisserie you must go here.
Everything I’ve tried has been excellent so far. Being a matcha lover, the matcha creme puff and strawberry ichigo croissant get high marks from me because I can tell that they use high quality matcha in the creme.
The JiJi (cat) bread filled with chocolate custard and raspberry preserves is also a standout.

The cutest bakery in the heart of Brookline offering a various array of fresh breads and pastries. The atmosphere itself whimsy, as the cafe is adorned in small figures and plushies, a nod to some of their most popular breads. I ordered the Jiji (raspberry and chocolate filled) and Anpanman (custard filled) breads. The breads were delicious and very delicate! If you like the fruit meets sweet combo, then Jiji is absolutely the top choice (and was my favorite as well)!

I've been coming here for years (apart from their several year hiatus and remodel). Since the remodel, the complete lack of seating both indoors and outdoors is rather annoying and I'm wondering why they would do this. They used to have seating for ~12-15 when you combined the indoor and outdoor two-seater tables. It's awkward having no place to sit down.
