Ramen is really bad. Nothing but the soup is hot. The egg is cold, the fish cake is cold, the tempura is cold. You can have much better ramen than this and cheaper price.

Pretty disappointed overall. The food was alright but didn’t taste authentically Japanese. I really liked the popcorn chicken, but it was actually Taiwanese-style and they didn’t have chicken karaage. The kyushu spicy ramen also seemed to be flavored with mala seasoning.
The menu options were also pretty disappointing. The only mains they have are different types of ramen and omurice. They also force you order a drink with the omurice. Yes, you can ask for no drink, but then you’re just paying extra for no reason. I have a sensitive stomach so I can’t drink either of them, so I had to give it to my sister (who said the Thai tea was very good!). The desserts were alright.
The worst part: as others have mentioned, I also got terrible heartburn and indigestion that lasted for days because the food was so heavy. To be fair, I have a medical condition, but the pain was much worse than usual. It wasn’t food poisoning though, so I would only extend a warning to anyone who has a condition such as IBS or GERD (the dishes inherently have a lot of fructans).
Am I going back? No. Would I recommend it? Probably not. But I wouldn’t actively discourage people from going.
However, I would consider going back if they added a more variety of menu items such as udon or bentos.

Food was delicious, around 15 min of a wait upon arrival. Had a little bit of a mishap when trying to order, you have to press a button for the waiter to come, which is troubling when the technology doesn’t work. When the food came, it was decent, although it was a little overpriced. We got the yingyang bowls but I would recommend getting the pork tonkatsu ramen instead. Overall, good ??

My partner and I had the pleasure of dining at Kyuramen on a Thursday night, and we were thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. Even though the restaurant was fairly busy, the atmosphere remained relaxed and inviting, which really set the tone for a great evening.
The ambiance is something that stood out right away. The space is beautifully designed and meticulously clean, which is something I don’t always expect from chain restaurants. You can really tell that they put a lot of thought into the design. We were seated in a private booth sectioned off by a café curtain, which was a thoughtful touch that added a bit of intimacy and privacy without feeling isolated from the rest of the dining area.
One of the things I really appreciated was the "call for service" button on the wall. It’s a simple but effective feature that makes it easy to get attention when you’re ready to order or need anything, without having to wave down staff. This definitely added to the convenience and overall ease of the dining experience.
Now, onto the food – it was delicious. Each dish arrived at the perfect temperature and was well-seasoned, which I think is always a sign of attention to detail. We’re both excited to return to try other menu items, as we were very pleased with what we had.
All in all, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back to explore more of what Kyuramen has to offer. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in a comfortable, thoughtfully designed space.

The Omurice was the sole reason I went to Kyuramen, and it was terrific. The Ramen dish my partner got was unique. The bun was excellent, as was the chicken dish we got for some appetizers. We are glad that we had it, and I'll be back for the other items they offer. Everything there was perfect. There was no wait. We got there and were seated immediately. The waiter was terrific after we got our order, and the wait between ordering and the food coming was minimal. The waiter came and asked us if we needed anything and always kept the water and sodas full, which was much appreciated. Thank you, Kyuramen - Brookline. We will become repeat customers for everything, and you can count on that.

I recently tried the ramen at this restaurant, and it was absolutely fantastic! The broth was rich and flavorful, with just the right balance of spices. The noodles were perfectly cooked, with a great chewy texture. The toppings were fresh and added so much depth to the dish, especially the tender slices of pork and the soft-boiled egg. The portion size was generous, and the service was quick and friendly. Overall, it’s one of the best bowls of ramen I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend to any ramen lovers!

Solid spot for ramen. Much better than expected flavor wise. Not too creamy, not too salty. The pork belly used for the katsuoboshi is better than the tonkotsu one. Portions could be bigger. The pork belly skewer is a must try. Good service and atmosphere.

Great atmosphere and service! Love how they have separate booths for more privacy. The food was delicious, but the broth flavor was not the traditional flavor, as in they had spices that would typically be from Chinese cuisine(?). My group got Tonkotsu and miso ramen, but they all had that particular spice smell and taste.
