I recently found this place and absolutely love it! I’ve been eating hot pot across different states, and this spot has quickly become one of my favorites. One thing to note, though, is that the chili powder doesn’t quite taste like the Sichuan powder I’m accustomed to, but it’s still

I had a fantastic hot pot experience at Lamei! The broth was rich and flavorful, creating a perfect base for all the fresh ingredients. The variety of sauces on the table allowed for a customizable taste that complemented the meal beautifully. The steam rising from the pot in the center of the table added to the cozy ambiance. It was a delicious, satisfying meal, and I can’t wait to return for another round!

This was my favorite hotpot experience yet. The food was great and had good portion sizes. And the service was prompt.

Came here for dinner recently. Tried our best to get there after work but arrived about 1 hour before closing and it felt like bit of pressure from staff that we were showing up too late. Definitely felt a sense of urgency then throughout the meal and if layst call is greater than 1 hour before closing time, I think it should be more clearly stated. However, the fried rice is great and the broth and meat were very tasty.

After checking out the high review score we went for a Saturday lunch. Have to say we are disappointed.Food was not very fresh, and you can simply tell that by the color of the meat.Overpriced. Spent close to $70 per person after tips but didn’t feel we were full. We usually don’t eat much.Slightly below average service, maybe due to shortage of waitresses. There are some jacket bags to seal the hotpot smell out but the waitress never offered. We ordered the noodles which required some processing, had to ask the waitress a couple of times, and finally got it cooked before everything was finished.Food or broth wise they are just okay. As a Chinese immigrant who has lived in the Boston area for many years I’d prefer most other hotpot places over this. Strange to us that Lamei has 4.5+, maybe things have changed?

I have been introduced to this place years ago and I'm unsure why I'm leaving my first review. Love this place and I tend to come back multiple times a week for some spicy broth and crab sticks. Service is amazing here and the quality is superb. Currently forming this review now as I head there now with my partner for the second time this week and it's only Tuesday. Night time is definitely much more busy than the day time but the ambiance at night made it so much cozier than the times when we come in for lunch. Thanks la mei!

I love hot pot in general, but this place has a great selection and fresh ingredients. I was happy with their sauce bar, and couldn't stop eating the sesame rolls. Our waitress was extremely pleasant and helpful.

Absolutely amazing experience. Had so much fun trying new things and was really impressed and excited to see things you don’t usually find like frog legs and pork brain which we tried and loved. It was our first time there and the servers all were super attentive and so inviting. They checked how we liked everything and showed us how to cook items we were unfamiliar with. We were overwhelmed at the sauce bar with so many options and one of the servers noticed us struggling and asked if we would like help. After we said yes, she made a sauce for us that she said was her favorite and it was delicious. Loved how spicy the extra spicy broth was and they also added more broth base and water a few times after a lot of the soup was evaporated. Overall, will recommend to everyone I know and I’m very excited to come back.

The service here is great and I love that they have a coat rack and protectors to keep the hot pot smells out of our jackets. Beware that the sauce bar costs extra per person. Caution on the spice as well; they're not playing around. The bone broth and the premium spicy broth are both really good, but the spicy one was definitely spicy. We got the medium, but we might try the mild next time. The snowflake short rib, the napa cabbage, the meatballs, and beef tongue were all super delicious. I highly recommend it!
