Lan Feast is a great new addition to the Brookline neighborhood. The food is quite authentic, from the beef noodles, cooked dishes and even down to the desserts.

The beef noodle soup had a good rich flavor. I would have preferred the noodles to be more chewy rather than soft but it was still tasty. The braised beef was very dry however. I hope they can improve on that in the future. The scallion pancakes had good scallion flavor but were undercooked. The eggplant with strignbeans dish was very tasty and well cooked. I was quite surprised by their red bean and dates soup dessert. It was not too sweet, had great soft red beans and sweet dates that rounded out that soup nicely. I would definitely order that again.

Service was friendly and efficient, although a bit slow on the Tuesday night that we were there. They seemed very short staffed that night and the restaurant was full of patrons.

We look forward to coming back to sample a lot more.

We've had multiple visits and online orders. The place is understaffed and slow. Despite the QR code menu on every table, you must order with the staff, which simply wastes everyone's time.
Soup base has a sour taste. Dishes are delicious but way overpriced. Portion has been consistently small whether dine-in or takeout. We were astonished to see half of the box empty for a $26.4 dish.

Walked in here while strolling the area and the food was very good. The tea a delight and the spicy chicken had a spice I had never had before that was magical.

It is a chill place.

No idea what it is yet, but it leaves a sensation that changes the flavor of the water. Really enjoyed it.

The beef noodles weren't very authentic.
There was a large table of young people nearby, their chatter and laughter were too loud, seriously disrupting the dining experience of the surrounding customers. No one tried to stop them.

I would pick the widest noodle - they have 5 options. #4 wasn’t knife or hand cut but was still decent. The U shaped noodle bar with booths and tables is a good set up. Perhaps the actual bar for drinks a wasted space.

I constantly crave spicy beef noodle soup, and this is the best one I could find in Boston so far! Absolutely delicious and I come back frequently. The service is extremely friendly and professional as well as lovely ambiance for family or a date (or even to go solo). Definitely check it out! Also located in great area of Coolidge corner.
