Merai Reviews
Really excellent small plates to share, the dumplings, ribs and beet salad were delicious
Awesome spot! Love the thai fusion take on bar food and the drinks are all well balanced. They also have a full bar with some interesting finds like the himbri gin we’ve seen in iceland. Highlights were the pork dumplings, tarro fries fried chicken sandwich and thai nachos.
My friends and I were there last week for my birthday and the staff were welcoming and happy to celebrate! We had a party of six and so we booked a week ahead of time since the restaurant is mostly 4-top and bar seating. But booking by phone was super easy! Merai is a sleek and intriguing restaurant with dark walls and dim light, setting the tone for great conversations paired with delicious food. The food offerings are very unique and the flavors dance with the taste buds. Merai offers several dishes to share, including crab croquettes, which are fried perfectly golden with delicate and fresh crab meat inside, and the risotto, made with coconut milk, which is creamy and light. The tom yum bolognese is flavorful and the pasta is cooked perfectly. The chicken wings are stuffed with garlic fried rice, and the hotdog is a standout dish, with caramel used basil onion and a sweet kapraw sausage and salted yolk Mayo. Other popular dishes include the hamachi, thai wings, and the tom yum chicken sandwich. The restaurant also offers a variety of cocktails, including mocktails, and has a cozy ambiance with nice mood lighting. The service is excellent, attentive, friendly, and professional, making the dining experience very enjoyable. Merai combines great food, drinks, and service, making it a standout spot. The restaurant is small and can be loud, but it is a great find for those seeking a unique and delicious meal, with prices in line with what you'd expect for a restaurant of this type.
