I hate to say but the quality of Tattè has really fallen over the last 12-18 months. The food, once tasty and regularly well-made, consistent and well-priced, is now a heaping, soggy mess. The tuna sandwich should be called a mayonnaise soup, which is all it ends up being by the time you get it. The breakfast sandwich should be called a breakfast splatter, after a singular bite distorts the mountain of salmon and capers into a pile of near villainous-looking fish and egg segments. I don’t know why you’re prompted to tip for an experience that doesn’t provide a service (you bus your own table, you pick your own seat, etc.) or contain a single idea of hospitality. I know this little review won’t change much and the perfectly located Brookline Beacon St Tattè will continue to serve out of towners before the Sox games, but for someone who lives in the neighborhood and used to frequent regularly, I’m sorry to say I won’t be back anytime soon.
They are not clean; for example, they touch the tea bag when making it and some other examples
Food was good but nothing comes with sides. A bit fussy.
Tatte is one of the only coffee shops that serve unsweetened almond milk so i keep coming back. Location can be a bit crowded and busy but the staff are always friendly.
I eat regularly at the various branches around Boston. Until today I was always satisfied. Today things were different. The food we ordered wasn’t fresh, especially the vegetables in the salad. The indoor seating area was filthy. Old dirty dishes were left on the tables. None of the employees even noticed. I will never eat there again.
I am deeply disappointed in this location. The customer service is lacking and I was left humiliated and ridiculed by staff as I waited for my order when simply asking if they had received it. Instead staff looked at me if I had asked them an awful question and laughed as the manager simply allowed this behavior to happen. I will not be coming back.
This is the best breakfast place I have ever been to. The coffee, croissants, avocado toast, smoke salmon are all top notch. I have never had better.

All of our orders were messed up. Food came out cold and reordered eggs for our daughter were undercooked.

Tate's Coffee is fantastic! They serve great coffee and fresh pastries, making it a perfect spot to relax. It's always busy on weekends, which adds to the lively atmosphere for meeting up with friends!

Had a black Americano and the coffee is very good. The cup and lid are of good quality, so the coffee doesn't leak.

This is my favorite Tatte location by far. Most of the post-2016 locations hit a bit off the mark from the original Tatte concept—before Panera/Shaich’s involvement.
I love the small neighborhood feel; the store and its outdoor patio seating are tucked under large oak/sycamore trees.
Parking: Plenty of metered street parking.

I have been coming to this place for years, the latte is excellent, but for some reason the servers cannot seem to get that I like my coffee in a ceramic cup. I have tried everything, including "I would like a for-here cup", "I would like a for-here cup, this is important to me", "I would like whatever size your for-here cup is in a for-here cup" , and still half the time I get a cup to-go, and they fix it by bringing an empty ceramic cup, which is obviously not the same thing. How hard can it be?
