I went here on a date and had a horrible experience and will never come back. The waitress came up to us every 5 minutes and interrupted us by yelling “do you want anything from else?” Very loudly. It gave both of us a headache so we left and neither of us will ever come back.

Got catering for a party following a great in-house dining experience and Zaftig's was a hit! Their catering portion sizes are generous, traveled well, and everything was delicious. Will certainly be reaching out to them again in the future.

I occasionally find myself inventing reasons to head to Coolidge Corner so I can treat myself to a sandwich at Zaftigs. I am a big pastrami fan, so I toggle between the Toasted Pastrami and Swiss or a Pastrami Reuben. Like any self-respecting Jewish deli, they offer Dr. Brown's sodas.

We were not able to sit down becuse we were running to an appointment, but the crew here was great at getting us in and out with food quickly. The food was AWESOME - you can not go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff even added a little extra which the kids thouroughly appreciated. Definately worth the travel time.

Pastrami, potato pancakes, matzo ball soup and chocolate egg crème… all legit. This unassuming place would be at home in NY, Chicago or anywhere else that knows the value of a good rye bread.

Extremely dissatisfied by their chicken club sandwich and quality overall! the chicken was overcooked and rubbery, the bacon was undercooked and slimy, and the bread is way too thick for a triple decker club sandwich, (i ended up throwing it away after only finishing half! I hate wasting food, but I completely lost my appetite. I think no matter how bad the quality at zaftigs gets, they are considered a neighborhood "staple" and don't really need to worry about losing business to people like me. I've been here a few times for lunch (i work in brookline) and the food was never anything worth mentioning. I wasn't even going to leave this review until i saw how many 5 star ratings this place has... it's so overrated its literally just normal diner food! If you are looking for local sandwiches that are actually worth the $$, check out seven subs around the corner, they never disappoint!

Whilst the food is beyond compare, the service here was sub par at best. The staff seemed more eager to congregate by the kitchen in the back then to check any single diner to see if their meals were on point. My guest did not even get her beverage, and I was served the wrong beverage. All in all, would visit again, but was disappointed with the people portion of this wonderful establishment.

Seriously the most delicious breakfast I've had in a while. We got the BLT, the latke with smoked salmon, and challah French toast. They're super busy but the turnaround time was fast and the food was fantastic.
