Came here in search of a chili and they delivered. Overall had a very good experience at Zaftig’s - the service was very kind, professional and quick and the food prices were reasonable for the portion size. We started off with chili and latkes. Both were very good - the chili is exactly what we were looking for with a homemade feel, and the texture of the latkes was very good. General comment that the food could use a bit more spices and salt (not overly impressed with flavors),...

Excellent place for dinner - breakfast an obvious yes- but they had a great burger for my picky eater, and nice sandwiches for the rest of us - with fries. \nThe half sour pickles are exceptionally good - and will not break the bank as much as others places for dinner.

Flawless roast beef and pickles and a nice light coleslaw, but for me the star was the sourdough bread, which is the elusive perfect sandwich bread: flavorful without overshadowing any of the filling, both pillowy soft and slightly chewy, just barely enough substance to hold a thick sandwich together perfectly without making the sandwich bready and dry.
