The person who answered the phone when we called ahead to ask about wait time was quite rude, which we get-- answering phones when it's busy is tough. We thought we'd try any way. When we asked whether a dish could be vegetarian, the server was so dismissive, we left. I've lived in a small K-town and in Seoul; I get that sometimes things aren't vegetarian, but we could talk through options, figure something out without hostility.

Unpretentious, small family owned and operated restaurant. You go for the food. Marinated Kalbi and pork belly BBQ are delicious. Family friendly. Sufficient, free parking.

Honestly pretty disappointing. We got the bibimbap and cold noodles and they were both super plain, nothing really stood out. The bibimbap literally had nothing.. had no taste. I had to add extra sauce to give it flavor. And the cold noodles had ONE slice of meat.. smh I love Korean food, so this place just didn’t hit for me.. not worth it, I could make it better at home. Won’t be back

Delicious - everything is fresh, comes quickly, and staff are so friendly and attentive. We've been coming here for over a decade and it's consistently awesome.

They cannot believe in this BiBimbap they are serving, honestly. We were greeted and sat right away and chose a regular table not bbq. We ordered the bibimbap and kimchi jigae. We received banchan, which was pretty decent and then our meals. The kimchi jigae was good, spicy and sour kimchi just like it should. But the bibimbap…no this cannot be real. Unseasoned ground beef and chopped romaine lettuce. Please say I didn’t pay $17 for this and not even get bulgogi??! Not ever in Korea, and not ever at any Korean restaurant I’ve been to have I ever been served unseasoned ground beef in bibimbap. Sad and disappointed and would rather have my $17 back.
The service was great, I can give them 5 stars for that.

Authentic Korean food. Staff attentive and friendly
I’ve been going here for years and it’s always so delicious and the best service! The Kalbi (short ribs) are my favorite

The servers were rude and demanding. We ordered 2 short ribs, as the minimum order is 2. This cost a total of 70$ for the less than 20 pieces of meat given to us. The food was oily and the service was bad.

Never going back again even though we really enjoyed the food in the past. Last time we went there, the waiter was so rude.
We were a walk-in party of four, but three of us arrived first. The host gave us a table, and once we sat down, hot tea was served. The lady server was busy but greeted me as she passed by. Shortly after, the male owner came over and asked if we were ready to order. I told him we were still waiting for one person. At first he started to walk away, but then turned back and said, “If you’re waiting, please wait at the entrance like everyone else,” pointing to the door. At that exact moment, some people had just walked in, but I explained that the person we were waiting for was already in the parking lot and would arrive any minute. Still, he insisted we leave the table and wait at the entrance.
My husband, upset, reminded him that he knew us—we come often as a family, always order a lot, and finish quickly. We hoped for some understanding. Instead, he said, “Yes, I know you, but you still need to wait at the entrance like everyone else.” Not wanting to escalate the conflict, I quickly asked if I could order something right away. I pulled out the menu and tried to order two of our usual BBQ dishes. He impatiently told me, “That’s lunch special—you can’t order that.” I said fine, we’ll order from the regular menu, and placed an order for a scallion pancake first, planning to add more once our child arrived. Only then did he finally let us stay.
After he left, I looked around—the people who had just arrived were already seated, and there were still plenty of empty tables. Literally one minute later, our child walked in.
This whole experience was humiliating and frustrating. We used to love this place and its food, but the rudeness of the waiter completely ruined it for us. Sadly, we will not be coming back.

Terrible service and the most condescending owner I’ve ever met! From the moment we sat down, there was zero warmth, no greeting, no water refills, nothing. When our meal arrived, they didn’t even bring the Korean small dishes that are supposed to come with it. We asked, and the owner flat-out told us, “You eat small dish after pancake,” as if we didn’t know how to eat.
When we tried to ask which menu item he recommended, he sneered, “Everything is good,” in the most sarcastic tone, basically making us feel like idiots for even asking. The arrogance was unreal.
The worst part? My friend, who is pregnant, got yelled at for simply using the grill tongs to pick up fully cooked meat. The owner actually stormed over and forced us to move the meat exactly where he wanted it, like we were children being scolded. It was insulting, controlling, and downright disrespectful.
This was supposed to be a nice meal with friends, but instead it felt like being trapped in a nightmare run by a rude control freak. Save yourself the anger and humiliation, there are so many other Korean restaurants that will actually treat you like a guest, not like garbage.

AGGRESSIVE and CONTROLLING owner! I honestly cannot believe this restaurant is still in business. The service was beyond terrible, it felt more like being scolded in school than dining out. The older man running the place was extremely AGGRESSIVE and CONTROLLING!!!
At one point, I placed a pancake on the grill, and he literally ran over, yelling at me “ DONT DO THIS!!!” in such a loud and angry tone that every table stopped and stared, as if I had done something awful. It was humiliating and so unnecessary. On top of that, he insisted we eat in a certain order, yes, literally telling us how we were allowed to eat our food.
What should have been a casual, fun meal turned into one of the most uncomfortable and disrespectful dining experiences I’ve ever had. We left feeling more stressed than when we walked in.
If you’re looking for a place to enjoy good food and feel welcome, this is definitely not it.

Came with a small group of three and ended up eating a lot more than I expected! We had the pork belly and chicken, and all the meat was really well made! Staff was attentive and even patient when we weren't so sure what to choose. Will be coming back in the future!

I don’t usually give any review if we had a bad experience at a restaurant, but I feel that I must for this restaurant.
Food was mediocre. The couple (husband and wife) were very rude. At first, I thought it was language barrier but no, they speak very good English. Just unbelievable! The place smells bad too. If there was a place for me to rate 0, I would!
