Food was fairly good, mixed drink very good. Burger was good but spicy bacon on it was inedible. Ambiance is sports bar, somewhat loud which is just fine if you like that. Clean. Our server was slow and inattentive. She charged us for drink refill as she said free refills only means 1 refill. Very unhappy that was thrown on our bill. One kid had no refills and the other had two and we paid for an extra drink?! Dumb and inexcusable when it says free refills. We won't be back.
Well located decent place—larger than it looks. There is a back side room that is quieter than the main area.
One of the worst sports bars I’ve been to and tbh my standards for sports bars are low.
Wings were cold and they only served drums, no flats. Sauce wasn’t tossed onto the wings. Fries were also cold. TVs were all on the fritz during an NBA playoffs game.
Very disappointing. I’d steer clear.
For a sports bar they had none of their 15 TVs working. All of TVs them were glitching. They also were playing music instead of any audio for a game. The wings were also weird - we ordered buffalo wings and they were dry, not tossed and no blue cheese or ranch dressing was included.
TVs don’t work and food is just ok
My favorite sports bar in Central Square.
Great food, affordable prices, and a very comfortable atmosphere.
Food was overpriced and mediocre. I ordered takeout. The truffle fries smelled and looked good but there was barely a dusting of parmesan and only the memory of truffle for the taste. The French onion soup had NO cheese and the onion flavor was far too subdued. I had to add my own cheese. For $16 it was NOT worth it for the price. The service was good but would not recommend the food.
great rice
I've given 730 Tavern a few chances, but unfortunately, the service consistently misses the mark for phone orders. The biggest issue is the lack of empathy or concern when a complaint is raised—it's as if feedback just goes ignored. Servers often seem distracted, rarely double-checking orders or reading them back, which leads to unnecessary mistakes. Since most of my orders are carry out, I won't notice the issue until I'm back in the office and can't return for hours later, if at all possible.
That said, the atmosphere is enjoyable and the desserts are genuinely good—probably the only consistent highlight. But overall, the poor attention to detail and customer care make it hard to recommend.
Sweet spot to grab a beer. Friendly service! Made it my 'home' bar while visiting Cambridge, it's that kind of place.

As a group of five we wanted to find a place to have conversation over food and drinks. We visited 3 places but their sound levels were ridiculously loud. We came here and it was better, so I asked where the quietest table would be and they sat us in an empty side area, allowing us to enjoy a very enjoyable evening at last.
Charges for a glass of water, absolutely nuts
Came here for men's basketball final in March Madness. Great service, truffle fries were addictive, great atmosphere
Great restaurant and sports bar. Great service great waitstaff and bartenders the food is decent served hot good taste. It was my 1st time ordering their Beef Stew it was good like really good. The restaurant is clean but they must do a better job with the upkeep of the restrooms.
Came here to host a large gathering with 35-38 friends to celebrate a birthday and had a great experience. I contacted the restaurant online and they responded quickly to book me a corner of their restaurant. We asked the restaurant to set up our area with bar height tables for mixed seating/standing and had enough space to mingle. I opted for a cash bar and pre-ordered food for the crowd. I ordered truffle tots, brussels sprouts, chicken tenders (real meat), chicken quesadillas, and steak egg rolls off their catering menu and they were all a hit with my guests. People really loved the truffle tots! The food portions were generous, great value, and high quality - perfect for feeding a large group. Plenty of leftovers for guests to box up and take home. The restaurant permitted us to bring birthday cake and stored it for us until we were ready. There was no cake cutting fee (cut it yourself).
Overall I had an amazing birthday celebration here and would highly recommend 730 Tavern for large groups/events.
