always good. always quality. menu changes every season.
Fabulous, imaginative menu. Wonderful vegetarian options. The carrot basil bolognaise is a brilliant work of art! Everything I have ever ordered here has been superlative. Farm vegetable Shakshouka was one of the best, healthful brunches I have ever eaten.
A “small plate” menu but many of the items are quite large. Creative dishes that are fun to mix and match
I’m a picky eater (and a vegetarian) and wasn’t sure about this place just from looking at the menu online. However, it exceeded all my expectations and the food, desserts, and service were excellent. My only complaint is that the restaurant is a bit loud when it’s busy, but we moved to a quieter area and had a great experience.
Food is always so good. The old favorites as well as the new menu items. Cocktails also so inventive, and always hits. Server was lovely and her recommendations were super.
Our three plates were delicious. We started with A+H BURRATA PLATE.. Just a nice little appetizer...perfect. I had the salmon...another awesome plate.. We also order the bluefin plate .. another great choice... Delicious meal and great wait staff..
We went for Sunday brunch for the first time at Alden, having gone at other times. We ordered based on our server's suggestions, which were excellent, especially the kale salad to share for a starter. The Bravas potato with poached egg was creative and perfectly done. We were the only table seated at the rear outdoor patio and we received more attention than usual. Will be back.
Of the three food items ordered; brussel sprouts, waffle fries, etc... all were incredibly salty. And I say this as someone that is not averse to salt on food. The brussel sprouts were also a bit charred. Wouldn't really recommend. Location was convenient. Staff were nice.
The best restaurant in town! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are friendly and highly professional. I wholeheartedly recommend this place ♡
Amazing. Just go.

The food and service were both excellent. The wait staff was great at describing menu items with asked and accommodating with small substitutions (switching in sprite for the tonic water in a mocktail, putting the spicy sauce on the side). My teenager loved the roasted carrots and the broccoli dishes! I think the chef/owner even checked in on us after the first dish was brought out.
Service was a bit slow esp after ordering initial round of drinks. It was two glasses of wine and a cocktail. It wasn't entirely full in the bar area or main but took 15 min. Desserts were awesome.
Brunch was delicious. Especially the giant cinnamon roll that we shared! Service was a little lackadaisical. Once we gave the server our order there wasn't much attention. Coffee was delivered but without milk or cream or a spoon. We had to flag someone down to get it. We were told food would come out as it was ready and that was fine but there was a longer gap between deliveries than we would have liked. Kind or weird the food was literally dropped off. No one asked if we needed anything else. It was okay but a tad more attention would have been nice.
This place is overrated. And they intentionally run out of their burger every night. This might've been cool 20 years ago. Nobody is falling for this anymore.
We went for Easter Brunch and it was excellent. I love the atmosphere. We were right by where the food come out of the kitchen but it was fine. Unfortunately, we were told the burgers had been 86ed, and two of our 4 were there for them. I don 't know if they were saving some for dinner. The Black Pepper Biscuits and Gravy were awesome.
