Amorino Gelato - Cambridge Harvard Square

We got the chocolate, pistachio, and salted caramel. Pistachio tasted synthetic, the chocolate was okay but not the texture of gelato, the salted caramel was the best flavor. Overall, if you are craving a cold sweet treat and you are in this area do yourself a favor and go to the Ben & Jerry’s up the street.

The gelato is still great, but I hate the new kiosk ordering system.

While traipsing through Harvard Square, our minds were on cold. Anything cold. We spotted this gelato spot from down the street, and boy did it hit the spot. The server behind the counter was generous with samples so that we could narrow the many tempting flavors down to our two scoops. Stracciatella was our big winner. While it wasn't as creamy and just a tiny bit icy in spots, it was as cold as we needed in the midst of this summer heat.

There's a decently sized and quiet seating area in the adjoining room, with bathrooms to boot.

Ordered my expensive ice cream and waited at least 15 minutes to get my mini ice cream. While waiting I watched as every single working scooped ice cream, touched cabinets, screens and more without a single glove on there hands and with no washing hands in between serving. While waiting for my ice cream i noticed a full glove box sitting there waiting to be used. This shows that these workers had the opportunity to keep clean and keep their customers safe with allergies, yet failed to. I also noticed that in each of the ice cream bins there were different ice cream creams than their names as if they didn’t wash the spoons. This experience wasn’t worth my time nor my money, maybe a smile while serving my ice cream would’ve helped.

Unacceptable that you leave only 1 server in the store to serve a busy location in Cambridge. Still waiting after 30 minutes to have a gelato . When we arrived at the store , only 2 customers were in front of me .

Friday afternoon, gorgeous weather, only one staff member who unfortunately did not seem to have much experience. We had to wait 30 minutes for our order even though the store was fairly empty. I ended up having to leave without my $7 affogato because my parking session was expiring

Decent gelato. Terrible system to order at counter and then wait for someone to make your order off a ticket. You can’t see the flavors from the checkout or sample. Slowest ice cream experience I’ve had. Technology is not better. You’re over complicating it!

I never had such worst service ever here, there was some new guy working he was absolutely rude and my order was wrong. I didn’t want to post such awful review but my server’s attitude and service made me.
