I had a coupon off their app for a free burrito. I went in explained I was GF and asked if they could just put the contents of the burrito on a plate. The man at the counter said it was not a problem. Then the woman at the register insisted that they would not honor the coupon. I could hear him explaining in Spanish that it was fine, that I was GF and it was a buttito just without the tortilla. She insisted they wouldn't take the coupon because it wasn't wrapped in a tortilla. I was disgusted at the horrible service and lack of understanding for a common allergy. In the end I just paid for the burrito, but the whole experience left a very bitter taste in my mouth! Both the service and attitude was terrible. Also the burrito wasn't very good, I'm not sure if it was because of the upsetting experience or the quality of the food.
Dietary restrictions: I would not recommend this place if you have food allergies. They are very inconsiderate!

Ana taqueria has numerous locations around Boston. However, this one in Somerville is far better than the others. Truthfully, they follow the same recipes for the food, but the people are more joyful, caring to serve, and to engage with the customers. The food is also immaculately flavorful, I always get the mexican bowl with chicken Chipotle,guacamole,pico de callo,jalapeños,corn,lettuce and some vegetables. Thank me later!

Food is fine. Service is bad. We already paid and sat down to eat and I wanted to grab a bag of chips. There was a long line of people waiting to have their food made and zero people in line at the cash register. The woman working the register was not assisting anyone so I asked if I could just grab and pay for a bag of chips since no one was in line to pay. She told me my only choice was to stand in the line of 10 people who had yet to even order and have their meals prepared. And she was rude about it for no reason. No thanks!

Unfortunately, Anna’s Taqueria is not the place it used to be. It seems like every restaurant nowadays is a shell of its former self. There’s no consistency with their portions or the way they wrap their burritos.
I usually tip even when I go in person, but I’m tired of tip when the food is already expensive and you get less food than before. The quality of the food is also lacking.
Usually food has been sitting for a while and looks almost burnt.
I ordered a Mexican Bowl with steak, lettuce, guacamole and pinto beans. $14.95 And the bowl wasn’t even halfway full!
Even the lady behind the counter asked if the portion was ok!? You can’t even ask for more of anything because they mark it up as extra.
For this reason I started cooking more at home.
Restaurants need to stop the mediocre price increases and stop with the tips.
How much longer will they keep crying Covid and chain supply issues?
Safe your money and please stop supporting bad practices.
