Excellent pizza -- very fresh. And nice selection of beer choices. Outdoor dining is relaxed and roomy.

LOVE area four. Best pizza in the Boston area and so accommodating about kids. We came with FIVE toddlers in our party, and they provided high chairs, crayons, plastic straw cups, and a nice big table outside where the kids could run around. Always so kind.

Look no further for the best sit-down pizza experience in town! By night, this spot serves up delicious sourdough pizzas—offering both classic toppings and creative, unique combinations that are a rare treat. Not in the mood for pizza? The menu also features tantalizing salads and mouthwatering roast chicken. Pair your meal with something from the well-curated wine list, or enjoy the area's best selection of craft beers on constantly rotating taps. Seasonal cocktails and mocktails are also available, so there's truly something for everyone. But that's not all—come by in the morning, and you'll find a cozy coffee shop atmosphere, with expertly crafted espresso, coffee, homemade pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. They don't try to offer every option, but everything they do serve is done exceptionally well. Whether you're on a date, having a casual business dinner, or enjoying a family outing, this is truly the spot. Your search ends here!

Food was delicious! The arugula, prosciutto, and hot honey pizza and the summer salad were delicious. The atmosphere is pretty low key. Was expecting a bit more of a college vibe.

There was something wrong with the pizza dough. The crust was tough and rubbery. The salad was ok but not spectacular as it had been in the past. The servers kept going outside to deliver our food before they found our table. Have been there many times and this experience was not to their standard

Great pizza, crazy salad. Ordered a “kale and Brussels sprout salad” only because there wasn't a garden salad available. It was very hard to eat. Also there was an employee serving food with a mask on- restaurants shouldn't allow employees to serve food if they are not feeling well.

Sat outside for some pizza and salad .had a great experience with attentive staff and great food. Definitely returning!

I will say that the arugula salad was too salty and overdressed for my taste but everything else was spectacular. The pizzas had a wonderful crave worthy crust and the kids devoured the mac n cheese. A previous reviewer who suggested getting a table outside so that the kids could run and play was genius. We did just that and “linner” for everyone was enjoyable. Did I mention it was a balmy 78 degrees out, too? Just perfect.

Unique and flavorful pizza and accompaniments that hit the mark every single time. This “humble” pizza place is definitely worth a visit. From group events to casual dinners, this is the spot if you’re craving a great pizza! Have been going to Area Four for years now and every time I think to myself, “I should go here more often!”

Hosted an event for 20 here several months back and the staff delivered. Food was great and setup was good for mingling as well as eating.

Summer corn pizza special (June 2025) was insane. Clam pizza is always a reliable stand-by. Sides like salads and garlic knots are also better than one would expect. Everything is always very solid and I’d recommend this for a range of occasions.

Awesome!
Their pizza is cooked in a wood-fired oven and is excellent, the crust is just right. The salads were great too, You can tell the salads are made to order. Because they come premixed with dressing autumn. But they're not wilted yet. Meaning, instead of making a giant bash batch, they make them fresh for each other. Our server was great too.
Back to the crust, a few people in our party were not from the u. Yes.
So they weren't big pizza eaters. They were not eating their crusts. I jokingly said to them. The judge of a good pizza is the crust. And this crust is the best as a matter of fact, if they had a side order of just crusts, that would probably so also you could have just pizza crusts with dipping sauces.
Overall is very pleased. I drive that by this place all the time. In my travi, should have tried it sooner. Yes, you will pay a little bit more than the average pizza joint, but you get what you pay for. The price per person that I chose might seem a bit high. But remember everybody had 2 cocktails each.

Ok, I love pizza and wings, and this has got to be one of the best I have ever had. The pizza was amazing, fresh ingredients, perfect portions of toppings, very fast delivery to table. This place is easy to get to in Cambridge, nice little park/grass area on the side for kids to run around if you need. Was in town to visit my daughter at Northeastern and we tried this on Saturday and Posto Sunday. Don’t waste your time with Posto, that place is a joke. Area Four is by far one of the best pizzas places I have ever tried. The wings were also perfect, not drenched in sauce, perfectly baked so there is a crunch but not dry. Waitress was friendly as well. Plan ahead with a reservation or go early or later than the rush times. Trust me, you’ll really enjoy the food!

Best pizza I had. Not even in Brooklyn do they have a pizza like this. This is real pizza.

This restaurant serves some of the most delicious pizza. The crust is perfectly crisp, the toppings are fresh and flavorful, and every bite tastes like it was made with real care and quality ingredients.

While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the flavor and quality definitely make it worth it. If you’re looking to treat yourself to a really good pizza, this place won’t disappoint. Highly recommended for pizza lovers who don’t mind spending a little more for top-tier taste!

We haven't been in a while. Always liked the food and the setting outside. Have never been inside. The pizza choices seemed lacking in vegetables. Mushroom pizza is good, but no other pizzas with many vegetables (corn is a grain), and hardly any vegetables availae to add to pizza. They used to also have some appetizers with good veggies. Now there were none. Salads are great! Just wish their were more vegetables available on pizza or sides. Drinks: don't understand why mock tails are almost the same price as cocktails. Found them so expensive we chose to drink water instead.
