Eating outside late in October is a special treat. Our table was nestled in between two very efficient heaters, providing a pleasant and comfortable experience. The service was excellent with suggestions of cocktails and food made by our fun and knowledgeable waiter. Having the former chef of the now closed Bergamont was another special treat. It was a pleasure to have his incredibly flavored food again. From the beautiful and delicious beet salad and Pate de Camagne to the roast duck breast and Flank steak the three of us were glad to have dined at Bisq and look forward to doing so again- and soon.

We loved BISq in the past, but this place has gone downhill fast. We ate outside, and it smelled like trash, two of our five entrees (cavatelli and risotto) were mostly butter, we had a hair in a salad, and they blasted 2008 Top 40s so loudly it was hard to converse. We will not be going back.

This was the worst meal I have ever had. Terrible service, rude wait staff, there was a very strong smell of sewage in the patio, there was a kitchen fire, the portions are tiny, overpriced, and burnt. Do not order the risotto or pasta - the risotto is $18 and the pasta is $23 and it is less than a cup of food served on a tiny appetizer plate, with no bread. There were only two cheeses - not the long list of choices on the menu, and it was enough for an appetizer for one person - two slivers of cheese with a few pieces of dried toast. The salads were okay, but nothing special. Mainly, the staff was outrageously rude. Unacceptable.

Excellent food (loved the duck), good wine suggestion (enjoyed the Mexican Tempranillo), and very good service. We ate outside on the patio (really, it's set up on the street, but they've added nice barriers, umbrellas and plants, so it feels quite cozy).

Food is delicious. Wine is exquisite. Sort of a tapas vibe. Friendly wait staff. Outdoor seating is dark but amenable. Their website menu was shoddy (took a long time to load).

First time here, interiors are thoughtful, warm and interesting. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Wine and beer selections were very good. Food was creative and menu seemed to cover a lot of tastes. Felt the portions were smaller than expected especially the large plates. Nonetheless will be back and enjoyed the experience.

Great French tavern-like spot for a burger with wine or beer. The natural wine selection is impressive. Much better than other places I’ve tried. The natural wines, I think, can be hit or miss, but the folks at Bisq have found some A-listers. The server was spot-on with his recommendations.

Solid! Just good all around value for the money

I hadn't tried coming here before COVID, because honestly it's a small store front and I wouldn't even realize there was something there. But once they installed their outdoor patio area it's a great option on Cambridge street. Some nice cocktails on their house menu and a variety of food options. Will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed it. Friendly staff, creative cocktails and very tasty little dishes. Our favorite was the foie gras

I was initially very excited to be going to Bisq. I've read about the restaurant, saw the favorable reviews. I made a huge error not looking at the current menu. All the dishes I looked forward to order were gone. It seems their concept has changed. It's now a very truncated menu. The portion size to the price for the entrée is ridiculous. The food was delicious, but not worth the price. I felt taken.

Quick first impression: it's great I had a fried chicken craving and Bisq was able to deliver. The chicken was nice and juicy. Good flavours overall and not too salty. I ordered just before lunch rush hour and received my order within a reasonable amount of time. I think an option to choose the number of pieces would be appropriate as three was too much...in my opinion. My experience is limited as this was my first and only visit.

Went for Sunday brunch. It wasn't too hot out so we sat outside in their extensive patio, but were also offered to move inside if it got chilly which was very nice to offer! Beautiful decor inside. Waitstaff was great - very kind, attentive, and friendly. We chatted with a manager as well and he was friendly and interested. Food was great! Cheese board was good as well as our drinks. Will be going back!

Great service and very appreciative of the coverage from the umbrellas outside since it rained unexpectedly. Our server was knowledgable about the wine list and recommended a nice bottle for us, and the food was both delicious and visually stunning. Shared some small plates between the two of us and they felt like an ode to summer. Always a pleasure to come to BISq.

Cute place. End of story. Menu so limited you will have a very difficult time deciding hate to eat. While the burger was good I would have preferred lighter fare but could not find anything. Pasta my wife had looked awful, but she said it was "ok." Dessert selection limited.
