This is a very nice shop, great food. But the shop is pretty small with limited seats so it doesn’t fit to big group. I came on Sunday around 11.30 am which is probably the busiest time, so the line was long taking me about 20’ to order and 5’ to get food.

Got the Breakfast BLT. Tomato was not ripe and had a sour taste. Then the bacon are just bacon pieces in the cream cheese. The bacon in the cream cheese tasted old and was extremely chewy, got a piece that I could not even break. Then I got food poisoning from it. Ruined the rest of my trip in Boston. There are other places that serve better breakfast sandwiches.

Love Black Sheep bagels! Our go to in Cambridge. They always have gluten free bagels too and a separate toaster

Perfect little garden level cafe tucked in with the tiny shops with cozy seating without the sterile decor of most chains
Bagels were fresh, light and airy, bursting with flavor. My daughter’s Lox 2.0 (pictured) was a complete meal in itself the cucumber and fresh dill bring out a tangy brightness to the standard cream cheese and lox sandwich. Café con Leche was definitely served hot andfresh, good thing we had time to let it breath while eating…so rich and creamy
Sandwich, large hot coffee, and another bagel (just because) for $20 and worth every cent

Wouldn’t put a GF bagel through the celiac toaster because I’m only Gluten intolerant. I havent been diagnosed with Celiac because I’ve been GF for another disease. Owner didn’t care he said it was difficult to get the toaster out and took too long.

Black Sheep is a great place for a bagel and a coffee. Expect the lines to be long on weekends, but it won’t take more than half an hour to get your bagel they are fairly efficient. Seating is tough, wouldn’t recommend coming with a group bigger than four but there are plenty of options around in Harvard Square to take your food and eat it there. My only knock on the place is the smell — if you spend over 15 minutes in there your jacket will smell like it for the rest of the day.
