Absolutely dismayed by the manager’s horrible attitude. Repeatedly got our orders wrong and was extremely inhospitable in response to his own incompetence. Half of our order wasn’t served but we were charged. When confronted, he had an abysmal response. Extremely rude and probably the reason why the place has been having lower foot-fall. Not going back to this location despite having loved the place before.

Stopped into Bluestone Lane in Harvard Square for a casual bite and had a nice experience overall. We ordered the Beef + Pickles sandwich, the kids' eggs and bacon on toast, and the BL Burrito. The Beef + Pickles—essentially a creative take on pastrami, mustard, and pickles—was flavorful, though the sauerkraut was a bit overpowering. Lauren really enjoyed the BL Burrito and said she’d definitely come back for it.

On the drink side, I had the vanilla latte. It leans toward a lighter roast, which isn’t my usual preference (I’m more of a dark roast person), but it was still smooth and flavorful. Lauren had the strawberry matcha and seemed to enjoy it as well.

The space itself is beautifully decorated with high ceilings and a bright, inviting atmosphere. We always love coming down to Harvard Square, and Bluestone Lane is a nice addition to the area. Would recommend for anyone nearby looking for a solid breakfast or lunch spot with good vibes.

Writing this review only to praise and thank the great service and the lovely personality of Candes. She even speaks multi language including Arabic which is an added value.

I'm not sure why the not great star rating! I came here on a weekday afternoon and I personally found it to have a really nice ambience. The food was perfectly decent and came quickly. I got the chilli scrambled eggs and found the dish to be flavorful and fresh. The waitress was really sweet, and I felt calm and soothed!

Had long black (Americano) and almond croissant to go but felt strange. It was like ‘what are you doing here?’ Had pastries without clarification and I asked what one or two were the answers were so forced, I felt unwelcome. Food was good but won’t go back.

Bluestone is one of my fave places to grab a pick-me-up in between classes. The staff are great! Hannah, Gabi, Megan and José always make my day brighter.

I was recently in Cambridge and decided to stop in Bluestone Lane. I had never been there before, and what a great experience it was! There was a lovely young woman whose name was Hanna who was very friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the menu and made a great coffee recommendation! Next time I’m in Cambridge, I will definitely stop in again!
