We ordered 3 courses at home, and a birthday cake. The food is amazing! Every dish we ordered had a unique flavor! You really get to have a fancy dining experience at home. I appreciated the instructions on how to serve the meals. Overall, great service, great food, can't wait to visit in person!

Bit surprised I haven't reviewed this place before, I've been here for several celebratory meals, all fantastic. But I want to give a rave review of my latest meal there (in all but actual physical presence), their 2021 Robert Burns Supper. I realize that my own table and plating can't do justice to just how beautiful and cozy Bondir is in person, and culinary logistics have some necessary element of making do this year. But the food was still phenomenal: Hearty oyster stew, mackerel salad, haggis, venison osso buco, and a gingerbread cake for dessert. Arranged in such a way that the at-home portion of the logistics was still relaxing, with great pairings of barleywine and scotch and also music and poetry. Felt like a real event, which is a bit of a feat at present. I hope to return in more than spirit some day soon!

My twin and I ordered cakes from Bondir for our shared birthday. Both the chocolate rye and brown butter hazelnut cakes were so artfully decorated, with mature and nuanced flavors that effectively balanced the inherent sweetness. Really appreciated how Jason went out of his way to fulfill a same-day order despite missing the deadline due to confusion with the online order form. Looking forward to trying the croissants next!

Enjoyed a great night out while you n the city for a Bruins game. Really enjoyed each course. I felt like there weren’t extra ingredients, and each component added to the overall taste. Amount or food was perfect for dinner. Added an extra glass of wine at the end and sat by the fireplace to enjoy since it was quite cold outside. Would recommend to anyone looking for a yummy and intimate dinner experience. Our sever was also fantastic! Attentive without being bothersome. Make reservations or otherwise you are not getting in.

The harimasa dish was quite the treat! Fresh fish paired with potent apples, along with citrusy vinaigrette, and a colorful bundle of root vegetable juliennes. I loved how savory yet sweet this dish was! The bergamot added this floral grace that further enhanced the meal. The plating was super pretty

I just had Bondir Thanksgiving meal last night courtesy of Renee. Jason you did it again!! I set my meal on a prepared plate and send the photos to relatives around and over seas, they are foodies and they were so excited about the beauty of your food, but I was able to taste it even if they can't. Overpriced!!! Five course menu of which two were apps and two were deserts. The deserts were two sweet. Apps were okay. Main course was a duck dish and it was so chewy that I could not finish it. Absolutely not worth the price.
Yesterday was the first time we came to that good restaurant. But It is obviously not the last. We had great time with the attentive service, with the superb dishes and wine and with the modest payment. We will definitely return there in a short time.

I am generally not a fan of takeout since as the food sits between cooking, delivery and finally consumption it often doesn't lead to a great eating experience. But I ordered from Bondir's takeout options (during the shutdown) and all the food was excellent and the portions very generous. The food was prepared with careful consideration of the time lapse and with a quick re-heat for the steak, it was a fine dining experience. We tried the steak with roasted parsnips, the lobster roll and the chowder- it was delicious and such a treat to have such high quality cooking at home. Apart from the entrees, the salads were very fresh and flavorful and the baked goods were absolutely delicious (and great to stock up on). The rhubarb pie was a taste of spring with a great crust. While we dearly miss eating at the restaurant - the takeout option at Bondir does not disappoint!
Order up Bondir for take out on Friday. It was excellent. I ordered the lamb,veal,pork Bolognese sauce with Buckwheat pasta and the Akashi steak with new potatoes. Also got the strawberry rhubarb pie. It was all amazingly prepared, fresh and delicious ! Seriously Order up from Bondir the next time you can, you won't regret it!
