As of Aug 2020, they are OPEN! I just had lunch there, and the food was PHENOMENAL...like, unbelievably good. I had the 5-way shwarma wrap and the special (I think it was called yassa?), and was blown away by the flavor. Can't believe I didn't find them sooner, but they'll definitely be a staple

Small restaurant, no place to sit but the food is great

Wow, this is incredible. The flavour is immaculate; never tasted anything like this before. The way it just melts in your mouth is really exquisite.10/10 will eat again.

Bytes owner Mohamed Barry is awesome. Shawarma, Chef's Rice, Baked Stuffed chicken Breast, and Yassa are among his top dishes. Visit Mohamed at University Park in Cambridge. 64 Sidney St.

Awesome little restaurant! Very nice staff, friendly service, and super tasty dishes. I visited with a group of coworkers and we got several different items - and we were all happy with the portions and taste. I met the owner, Mamadou, a few days prior when I had popped in to check out the menu. Such a friendly man, he was happy to describe the dishes and chat.

Great spot serving dishes not easily available anywhere else in the area. Give the maafe and yassa a try, you won't regret it! Peanuty meaty dishes over rice are an amazing and flavorful break from the mundane workday. Grab a drink and take the order to go to eat in the large plaza outside or down by the Charles if you have more time.

Small little place around central sq in cambridge. I love the little family and homey feeling of the place. The food is unique and really great to have for lunch! I will recommend anyone to give it a try when they have a chance to stop by! p/s, get the fish curry! The spicy is not spicy, if you handle southeast asian spicy well ;)

This place is a hidden gem located in what appears to be a business park. I've never had Senegalese food. The woman at the counter gave us samples to try. I had the peanut chicken stew which I believe was called Marfa. My son had the tasks which was also a chicken based stew like dish. Both were served over rice and included a salad. The portions were generous No seating inside, but plenty of seating outside in a very pleasant courtyard with a grassy area and a rabbit hopping around.

Definitely a hidden gem! As soon as we walked in, the owner greeted us and gave us samples of the food. The food was flavorful and was seasoned very well. The deli itself is small and therefore easy to miss, and there is no inside seating, but there are plenty of seats outside.

Ultra tiny and worth every bite. They go above and beyond to make you happy, and the food is great. Give them a try when in the Sidney Street area. Go for: breakfast sandwich or lunch (homemade dishes from various African nations). Try: whatever the daily special is Avoid: expecting bells & whistles.

First timers. Excellent tasting, very clean food! Amazing service as well!

With a name and location that suggests a corporate lunch counter, this is the best hidden gem in the area: authentic Senegalese food run by the sweetest mom & pop. My go to is the 5 way: beef shawarma, falafel, hummus, rice, fattoush, salad and tahini sauce, which is a steal at $7. And when the weather turns gloomy, try the peanut chicken stew.

My favorite lunch place near Central Square. This is a hidden gem, and the family that runs it is great! Please support this local business
