Cafe Beatrice has hands down the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve had in my life. That’s a big deal. I’ve never actually been inside the store, my husband works nearby and brings them home to me once in a while. Best to go by public transit/bike/walk because parking is tough. Worth the trip for those cookies!

Coffee, a breakfast taco, and a breakfast sandwich were mediocre at best. Street parking was almost non-existent. When we ordered, no seats were available so we ordered take out. After waiting to pickup our order, a table cleared as we were on our way out the door so we rushed to grab it. It seemed that every other table was occupied by people who had already finished their food and drink but were focused on their phone or laptop. It would be in Beatrice's own interest to encourage patrons to make room for other customers rather than lingering after they've finished their meal. My wife and I have no plans to return nor recommend Cafe Beatrice.

Their pastry selection is good, and dinner menu is best.
I’ve been here a few times and this is one of my favorite cafes! Their pastries have interesting twists and are consistently delicious. They have both outdoor & indoor seating and free WiFi if you want to work there during the day.

Egg sandwich not very exciting. Very sterile atmosphere, non-inviting. Plastic cutlery and cups, all goes to waste.
