I have so many great memories of coming here with different groups of friends over the years. I usually get the curry, which I've never been disappointed by, but the other items have been good too.
Food was phenomenal. Prices were excellent.
The solo waitress was a beast… she did a fantastic job. The seating situation is far from ideal, but I love that they are working with what they got in the best way. Definitely a comfort type restaurant.
We ordered shrimp dumplings - Crispy Shumai (see photo) - excellent.
Chicken Tatsuta- original (photo) - cooked perfectly, moist.
And Yaki Don (photo) - great meat /rice ratio!

They reopen midday and 4 minutes past that all tables are full. Everyone is ordering the fried chicken curry rice. We did too and it was good. Our order came with miso soup and small salad. Miso soup did not have any solid ingredient in it. The curry sauce was amazing and i wish i have tried thait beef curry as it is more similar to authentic japanese curry rice. The waitress/hostess is doing her best to keep up with the orders, I just wish there were a better way of communicating...
