My partner and I have been long time fans of Cafe Sushi, primarily enjoying the take out options but were excited to checkout the expanded dine in option they’ve recently opened. Boy were we happy with the result. I cannot underplay how impressed we were with the quality and freshness of the fish, truly 10/10 and we will be back to continue working our way through the menu. Great job, cafe sushi!

The price makes no sense with the food quality. They put the crappy cuts of sushi in the rolls to hide its poor quality, and they left part of the skin on some of the salmon. Very disappointed because this place used to be good.

The sushi was delicious especially shrimp tempura and spicy salmon roll and the service was fantastic.

Really really good sushi but the seating is 6 tiny seats in total downstairs and it is incredibly cramped. This place is ill-suited for dine-in. If i am ever back in this city i'd probably pickup sushi from this place and eat somewhere else. Also they do not let you drink alcohol inside the establishment which is a strange rule.

Love their sushi, and the renovated space is pretty charming. Wish they had more indoor seating, but the staff are always welcoming and so friendly.

Cafe Sushi Shoten is my go to every day sushi restaurant. While it’s takeout (or delivery) only now, it’s still rock solid with wonderful surprises in the weekday/weekend platters. I do miss the days when I could actually go and dine in at Cafe Sushi, but also they got me through the pandemic more than anyone else. Thanks for being awesome and stay awesome.

Used to be my favorite sushi place to go. We must have tried all the rolls and hand rolls on their menu by now. But their prices have increased so much (repeatedly) over the past several years, that at this point it is not worth it.

In store use of Toast QR codes doesn’t work, and doesn’t seem to earn points. I think the toast only works online
Very good nigiri

Tried all other omakase, all arrows point back to Cafe Sushi. Quality, taste and consistency. Downside is take out only.

Fantastic Vegetarian platter! Very inventive
very expensive. small portions.
grabbed a takeout box for $18 and it was really good! the maki was generously filled and the nigiri were fresh and delicious. all the nigiri are paired with a small dot of a unique garnish which elevated them - i do wish there was more of the garnish on each piece to better appreciate the flavour pairings. would eat again!
The best sushi you could possibly have delivered. Outstanding.
