Great atmosphere; focus very well when I come here.

Espresso is spendy but good quality. Staff is kool.

Only thing is they have this huge selection of baked goods and not a single gluten free option -- Ughh.

I tend to choose Caffè Nero over most other cafés in the area when I visit. The lattes are good, and there’s a nice selection of pastries and drinks, along with light lunch or breakfast options if you need something more substantial. The atmosphere is pleasant with an average amount of seating, making it a comfortable spot to relax for a bit.

There’s a bathroom downstairs (code required), which is convenient, but one drawback is the lack of outlets—I couldn’t find any, so it’s not the best place if you’re planning to work on a laptop that needs to be charged.

Overall, a reliable and cozy café choice in Cambridge.

worst iced chai i have ever had. I got a soy iced chai and it tasted like I was drinking thick sugar soy milk with nothing in it. there was some sort of powder in it that was at the bottom in chunks.

This would be a great place if their coffee and espresso wasn’t so relentlessly mediocre in every location. The people who run this chain need to spend an afternoon at George Howell to taste real coffee.

Cute lil cafe with good vibes, solid coffee, and yummy pastries. It may be a chain, but the Cambridge Caffe Nero manages to feel a bit more like a local indie coffee shop with it's cozy, comfy ambiance decked out with giant bookshelves, armchairs and couches, and ample seating. The staff is friendly and service is quick, so it's a great spot to either hang out for a long time while finishing a bit of work or to grab your morning cup of joe and continue on. The coffee isn't the world's best coffee, nor are their pastries the world's best pastries, but they're all solid and definitely meet my early morning pick-me-up needs.

Espresso was nice, but don't expect to get a smile or water with your espresso (containers are empty)

This café has a really nice atmosphere with a modern artsy feel. The service is great; the staff will check in once I a while at your table to make sure you are satisfied.

It also makes for an excellent workspace, especially if you work remotely and want to work outside of your house.

My one critique is that they play their music really loud, which can sometimes make it hard to concentrate and hear conversations over the phone.

I’ve had the worst experience at cafe Nero a few minutes ago. Normally I would go to this cafe to study and there hasn’t been any issues.
After a long stressful morning at school, I decided to grab some Dunkin' and needed a spot to sit down and relax a little. So I stopped at cafe Nero. Not even 5 minutes later I got asked very rudely to leave because I brought in stuff from Dunkin’. This didn’t bother me much, but I still thought it was odd. Like I said I’ve been there before and always had drinks from other places with me. Not once have I been asked to leave.
The guy who asked me to get out was extremely loud and rude. He even had the audacity to say to me across the room “our coffee is better anyway” as if I cared. I’m not even a coffee drinker. Others were staring at me. It’s almost as if he was trying to embarrass me in the shop.As someone who works in customer service, he could’ve asked in a much nicer way.
After thinking about it, I came to the conclusion that this was racially motivated, considering I was the only black person in there at the time. So yeah, don’t go to cafe Nero if you’re black.

I ordered 4 cups of Latte to pick up (5min before I arrived), then I saw my 4 latte taken out from the microwave (and they are still not hot…). The lady did no explanation and pretended nothing happened… I just hope my coffee is not yesterday-fresh or last-week-fresh.

I spent my hard-earned money on coffee and chocolate at this Caffe Nero, used my laptop for a while, and expected to be treated with basic decency. On December 23, 2023, at 6:52 pm, I asked to use the restroom, only to be told it was already closed because the staff wanted to go home. The coffee shop officially closes at 7:00 pm, so there was no valid reason for denying me access to a basic facility while I was still a paying customer.

To the management: if you don’t believe me, check your CCTV camera. This happened on December 23, 2023, at 6:52 pm, and they refused to let me use the restroom even though I urgently needed to pee. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and if staff can’t uphold their responsibilities until closing time, they shouldn’t advertise those hours.

Definitely not the kind of service I’d expect or recommend. 1/5 Stars.

This manager, a white male with a piercing, demonstrates clear signs of subtle racial bias. His dismissive and arrogant attitude toward minority ethnic groups is in stark contrast to the overly deferential manner he exhibits toward other white males. I urge you to investigate this matter seriously.
