Excellent intimate restaurant and bar right in central square. My group went here for a birthday party and had an excellent time. Our food was all amazing (great steak frites, lamb burger, mussels) as were the drinks (great cocktails). The service was good and the vibe inside the restaurant was really nice (dark lighting, kind of loud). Overall it was a great place to have a small bday get together and one I highly recommend.
Quaint restaurant with a good cocktail selection. We ordered the mussels and the devil eggs as appetizers and the seafood bouillabaisse. The mussels were so good we had a second order. This is a must if you like mussels.
This was our second time at Central Kitchen; this time we were joined by another couple. The food was excellent (again), but the service was terrible! Our server spent more time chatting with another patron at the bar than attending to her tables. We had to waive her down to bring us our drinks, and then again to bring our starter (both of which were ready and waiting once she checked for them). I'm torn whether to return. The food was excellent, but (for me, at least) feeling...
