I usually never write reviews, but my experience at this Chipotle on December 3rd around 6:45 PM was so bad that I feel I have to share it. I’ve been to this location many times and the staff is normally friendly and welcoming, but this time it was completely the opposite.

The server (a thin, fair-skinned male) was serving only 1/4 of a normal scoop of corn, tomatoes, and fajitas. Normally, Chipotle gives a full, decent scoop, so this was surprising. When I politely asked for extra corn and tomatoes, he gave me a very rude expression. When I asked again, he said, “I’m supposed to give only this much,” in a very disrespectful tone. That is not how customers should be spoken to.

I also requested red hot sauce on the side, but he ignored me and started taking the next customer’s order. I had to remind the cashier myself. Even then, he threw the hot sauce toward the cashier while giving me a very unpleasant look. When I asked for one more extra hot sauce, he said something in another language— I couldn’t understand the words, but his attitude made the message very clear.

I don’t mind paying extra for toppings or sides, but the way I was treated was unacceptable. On top of that, they mislabeled the bowls, switching the veggie bowl and chicken bowl, and the quantity in the bowl was nowhere near the usual Chipotle standard.

This was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had at any Chipotle. I hope management addresses this, because I would never want to experience this kind of treatment again.

If there was an option to select 0 star i would have gone for that.

I was told that Chipotle has great standards for cross-contamination for those with gluten allergies. When I placed my order, I told the person assembling my bowl that I have a gluten allergy and need him to adjust preparation accordingly. He stared at me blankly. I instructed him to change gloves, and he was clearly annoyed with me and said nothing. Once he did change gloves, he assembled half of my bowl and then passed it on to someone else, who proceeded to touch the food with likely cross contaminated gloves. It was a demoralizing and upsetting experience, not to mention the fact that this standard is unsafe.

Employees have an attitude, charged us for chips and an extra sixth bowl despite only having five, employee was unable to count past five and reading their own receipts despite working at Chipotle, refused to refund until taught to count to six

This has to be one of the worst Chipotle in the Mass. A year ago I ordered a fountain drink just to turn around & see an out of order sign on the machine, then they wouldn't refund me for the drink even though they knew it wasn't available before selling it. I go back for the first time in a year & the employee is giving the smallest servings of rice, pico, & corn I have ever seen. I had to ask for more scoops multiple times just to get a look like I was the asshole. Then I had to wait 5 minutes while the employee that was supposed to be at the register talked with a friend about personal stuff. Do not eat here, the food is bad, the employees are rude and stingy, and you're going to get half the amount of food as you should.

Staff said only half my payment went through so I needed to pay the balance, even though the receipt does not show any issues. So I tapped the card again, and the new receipt shows an unknown order I did not make, with said balance. What was even more confusing was that the guy confidently looked at both receipts and said the same thing to explain my second payment, which doesn't even make sense because the half payment issue was not reflected on the receipts. Fortunately I was dining in, and after the meal, both transactions reflected in my account in full, so I could show the staff and get a refund on the second receipt. The guy didn't apologize and another staff had to help out with the refund.

I placed a pickup order for 5:50. When I got there (at 5:50) I asked the woman at the counter if my order was ready. She said no, so I took a seat to wait. I got a notification from my app that the order was ready at 5:55, so I went up again and showed her my order status. She asked my name again, so I have it and even spelled it out. She said it wasn’t ready so I waited. I finally went up a last time at 6:08 and asked what was going on. Her and her coworker asked my name (yet again) and her coworker turned around and grabbed my order that had been sitting there for 20 minutes. When I asked if it was the order that had been there for 20 minutes the two just laughed in my face. I genuinely cannot believe that those two workers were so incredibly rude when I had been only nice and patient. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a fast food place in my life.

Worst things about this, their customer service offered me a free drink. How condescending can they get

Compared to other Chipotle locations that I have been to, I would say that this is one of the better Chipotles. I typically receive generous portion when ordering at the counter. The staff is friendly and the service is usually pretty solid. Bowl with guac and tortilla on the side usually comes out to ~$13.
