Went to chutneys with high expectations. Disappointed that they are running a restaurant in US so filthy and unclean. Tables were not cleaned, floor was unclean. The kitchen looked very unclean and the cook was not wearing any head gear.

I ordered the chicken lollipops, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst dishes I've ever eaten. The chicken was dry, overcooked, and lacked any real flavor. Instead of the juicy, crispy texture you expect from a well-made lollipop, it was tough and greasy with an odd aftertaste. The coating was soggy, and the seasoning was either completely missing or done poorly. Extremely disappointing—definitely not worth the price
Good quick food.

This is a great place for a quick bite. The food is good, big portions for reasonable prices.
We were a big group and everybody enjoyed their dish, which included vegetarian, kosher and halal options.
The place is located in an area called "the garage" and there are some tables, but not enough for a big group (we were more than 10).
The staff was patient with our big group, and that by itself made the experience so much better. Also, this is a sort of open kitchen and it was nice to see all the preparations.
Vegetarian options: There are many dishes with paneer. And it was really great.

Chutneys in Boston offered a delightful vegetarian feast with bold flavors and vibrant dishes. The Chili Garlic Noodles were perfectly spiced with a satisfying kick, while the Manchurian had a rich, tangy sauce that paired well with its crispy texture. The Paneer Chili was a standout, featuring tender paneer cubes in a flavorful, spicy gravy. The Samosa Chaat balanced savory and tangy elements beautifully, making it a crowd-pleaser. Mango Lassi was refreshing with its creamy sweetness, and the chai provided a warm, comforting end to the meal. A great spot for authentic Indian street food vibes!

Loved their chili garlic noodles and lamb curry!
I stopped by with my friend to get a bite to eat before an event and was very satisfied! I decided to try the paneer bhurji sandwich as it sounded interesting and let me just say…. The heavenly angels began to sing upon the first bite and my eyes rolled to the back of my head, it was truly one of the best tasting sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. It was so amazingly crispy, deeply flavorful and beautifully served. I love Indian food so much and this truly hit the spot, it was also very filling and perfectly paired with a mango lassi. It took a while to come out but it was worth the wait!

Chutneys is one of the best places near Harvard University to get mouthwatering Indian and Chinese cuisine.
I particularly like the pricing for the food and especially the lunch combo was worth ordering for sure, alongside panner tikka and hakka noodles 🍜.
The taste was reminiscent of Indian street food. The food was delicious, spicy and affordable ( US).
A must visit place for sure 😃

Tried their chicken sandwich along with Indo-chinese meal. I was quite disappointed by the sandwich and its filling quantity, but their Chinese was yummy and spicy. Though the rice quality used for Chinese was not up to mark. The place and atmosphere is not that good. I’d recommend take out.
Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options in everything they offer
