coming to the usa, i honestly didn’t think i’d find a place that comes this close to indian flavours, but this one genuinely did. i’d say a solid 97–99% match, and that’s saying a lot. one bite in and it took me straight back to india. the plastic spoons, paper plates, and that proper dhaba-style setup just made it feel even more real. the street-style food is done SO right. the kind of food that satisfies your soul, not just your hunger. the chilli garlic noodles were unreal, and the chicken lollipop omg absolute must-try. every bite felt comforting, nostalgic, and so so satisfying. if you’re missing india or craving real street food vibes, this place will hit you right in the heart. highly recommend 🤍

I got the paneer tikki masal meal, it was delicious. I would recommend for the salad to put some dressing on the side. The staff was helpful and nice. The place was clean.

I visited this spot near Harvard University in Cambridge — tucked inside a small indoor shopping arcade — and it turned out to be an absolute hidden gem for Indo-Chinese food.

I ordered the Chili Garlic Chicken (semi-gravy style) and Schezwan Fried Rice with chicken and egg. And honestly, this was a complete bomb. The flavors took me straight back to the Indo-Chinese food I grew up eating in India — spicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked chicken, and that true Schezwan taste that’s so hard to find in the US.

The best part? It was budget-friendly. I spent less than $25 for the whole meal, which is unbelievable for Cambridge and Harvard Square area.

If you’re craving authentic Indo-Chinese food in Boston/Cambridge, this place is a must-visit. Amazing taste, great value, and genuinely one of the best food surprises I had on this trip.

Highly recommended — a true hidden gem near Harvard!

A classic hole in the type of place! The Indian Chinese here is great. I highly recommend fried rice. The kitchen is clean and the wok is spinning fast. I would go here more often if I lived near by.

Great food! We had pav bhaji, tea & paneer tikka. Quick and friendly service. It's in a shared space in a common are there is a restroom in the building but that requires a key.

Food was delicious, friendly service, served quickly.
I’m not sure I would eat here again because the place was so filthy. It looked like the only thing ever wiped down was the top of the tables, not that they just hadn’t wiped off from the lunch crowd- I’m talking about months of accumulated grime. Even the back of chairs had old food splashed all over them. I don’t think my pictures show the true nastiness of the situation.
The chairs looked like they haven’t had a good wipe down in years!
If this is how they clean the front of the shop I can only imagine the cooking area.

Best indo Chinese food I had till now in the US. The prices are perfect and the taste wood remind you Indian street food and take you home. Please give it a try. Nobody talks about it but it is better than the indo Chinese I had at a famous restaurant at New Jersey.

Stopped in here in July 2025 during the 4th of July weekend. I lived in the area and recalled this place. I decided to try it out again. The food is dependable and exceptional in my opinion. Priced nicely and fresh. The menu items are typical Indian cuisine regulars so nothing to be surprised by. This is in Harvard Square area and can be busy depending on the time of the day or week. The service is counter service. Order, and wait for the food. There is limited seating but ample to have a quick bite. Service is as expected. Good and efficient. Recommended to try it out if in the area. A good way to bridge the gap of good Indian college town style.

Went to chutneys with high expectations. Disappointed that they are running a restaurant in US so filthy and unclean. Tables were not cleaned, floor was unclean. The kitchen looked very unclean and the cook was not wearing any head gear.
