I went here in December 2022 and loved my experience here. I was able to find seating at the bar on a busy Friday night. I ordered 2 drinks - a bright blue cocktail and a hot pink one after. Both were delicious. The service was a bit slow because of how busy the restaurant was, but the bartender totally made it up to us by giving us free shooters! The shot was blue and sparkly and also amazing. Overall I really liked it here. I'm not sure if the bar is still open or if it's just an event space now, but I would go back to this bar.

Nice atmosphere for dancing but facilities could use improvement. Need heavy-duty and more coat racks. The ones we put our coats on collapsed and it was a nightmare finding our belongings. Also, the sink water pressure could use some help. See video above.Btw for the people looking at the food pictures, thinking this is still a restaurant, it’s not anymore and is an event space, just a heads up.

Cloud and Spirits is the perfect vibe. Michael and his team curate such spectacular events that are multi-dimensional and comfortable. He cultivates such an eclectic crowd and ensures everyone is in a safe space. I highly recommend reaching out to book events at the space and being apart of the Cloud and Spirits Family!

Today, I tried the Fish Taco pop-up by Love Art, which was located inside Cloud & Spirits. For $5, you can get three tacos and a side. You must place an order online and pick up on the specified day and time of your order. The time slots do sell out but not immediately. My box came with crispy mahi mahi, slow braised barbacoa, and pulled chicken tacos and a side of corn elote. The box was prepared on pick-up and took about five minutes. They provide sauces, spices, and utensils. The process was smooth. I liked the braised barbacoa the most. It was flavorful but could have been more tender. The mahi mahi was my second favorite. The inside was soft, and the outside had a small bite (I would have preferred it crispier, though). I rank the pulled chicken third, but it was not bad at all. The corn elote was on the sweeter side but also not bad. Overall, these weren't the best tacos I've ever had, but relative to the price, they were very satisfying, and the protein portions were generous. I plan on getting more!

I love this place for hangout to meet with friends, but also to dance. The open concept split in the middle of the bar, is ideal for all types of hosted events. You can converse at the bar while still enjoy the music and atmosphere of the dance floor. I often go alone, because I feel super comfortable with the staff and know I’ll make new friends there. If you love music, good drinks and great people. This is the place to go! Make sure you check out their Instagram for the latest events.Disclaimer: Photos are from opening time and I choose these to show you the venue atmosphere, versus other photos. It gets way more lively ?

My favorite new venue to attend and throw events at. Beautifully decorated, cool atmosphere, thoughtful lighting, perfect set up for music events. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. Friendly staff is also a plus. Can't wait to go back!

Went here for a private event. Food was mediocre. Simple and un-creative American fare that they jazzed up for show (and for price), but the flavor doesn’t follow the presentation. Not very good compared to any decent restaurant in western Europe, and certainly not getting a Michelin star any time soon. However, the service was great and the atmosphere was nice.

American-Asian fusion cuisine located in Cambridge. Lowkey, cozy ambience. Our server was very attentive and nice. The dishes were creative in terms of the execution and presentation. However, I felt that the taste of the food was very bland and was way too expensive for the portions. I also initially expected something more flavorful since Asian cuisines typically highlight a lot on their spices and herbs??SALMON SANDO-YAKI: Grilled Salmon, Whipped Cheese, Furikake, Charbroiled, Takuan Sambal Relish?HAINAN CHICKEN ARANCINI: Roasted Chicken, Jasmine Rice, Ginger, Garlic, Mozzarella, Gochujang QP?MUSHROOM RAVIOLI: Fried Ravioli, Forest Mushroom Mix, Edamame Pesto Cream Sauce?MALTED CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM: Buttercream, Milo Malted Chocolate, Belgian White Chocolate

An average experience. I thought the food was lackluster, we ordered almost the whole menu and only enjoyed the chicken arancini, mushroom ravioli, and the street noodles. The fried chickens were very rich and overall I just feel like there’s better small plates restaurants. The drinks were pretty tasty though - we enjoyed the matcha seasonal cocktail.

We loved the look of the restaurant but the tables were a tad small. There were 3 of us and the plates/drinks/water were tight. Each dish was quite delicious but the servings were definitely mid-size tapas. The server warned us. Nice modest sound level until about 7:30 when the music went on and the sound level became intolerable

Service is good! The staff are nice. The food is okay. It's an American / Asian fusion restaurant. I think most of the food was not very flavorful, just tasted like fried carbs. That's just my preference though. I probably won't go again after this second time here. My first time was good! (I can review later.) Their menu changes seasonally I believe, but it's really hit or miss. For the photos, we got like 6 pieces of food, but that was easily $35 ... crazy. There were other pieces not in the pictures. We got the Xi'An Street Noodles and my friends really liked it. Again, price probably not worth for what you can get in a genuine Asian establishment! One thing I hated about this second time was seating. We were seated on the right-side when you first walk in. It's away from the nice ambiance (left side with the greenery) and was very dark! Kinda killed the mood with my girls! The one thing I love are the drinks! Drinks are so delicious. Never had a bad drink here. TLDR; Food is hit or (mostly) miss if you're Asian or eat a lot of Asian food. Go for drinks. Don't let them seat you in the dark corner!

Ordered almost everything except dessert. Server was nice, food came out quickly. For food my Favorites would be the loaded house chips, Crudo, roasted mushroom greens, both the fried chickens were delicious and crispy. The xi'an street noodle came with a pepper sauce on the side, be careful not to put too much in because it definitely had a kick. It was kind of dark and we couldn't see exactly what the sauce was so we ended dumping the whole thing to the noodle... much regret. The only dish I didn't like was the hainan chicken arancini... overwhelming lemongrass flavor. A lot of the dishes in general had their own type of dipping sauce so when the food came out, we forgot which sauce came with what food. Overall food was good but pricey in my opinion. I believe the menu do occasionally change but not sure how often. But when they do I would definitely check them out again. They have street parking.

My boyfriend and I don't get out of the South End often and wanted to dedicate an afternoon to Cambridge. I love doing my research about local places I haven't been and stumbled across Cloud and Spirits. We had a reservation at the bar for 5pm, literally right when they opened. It was quickly filled with reservations but the staff was so attentive and our food was AMAZING. We got the quickle salad, mushroom ravioli and the chili crisp Buffalo chicken. It was all AMAZING but the Buffalo chicken was one of the best things I've ever had. UNTIL, we had the milk bread. Holy. S**** But best part? Our server / bartender, Andi. She was a friend by the end of the night. She made the best recommendations. The best drinks. And brought the best energy. At one point we almost asked for her number. Overall... A GREAT NIGHT WITH GREAT FOOD AND EVEN BETTER COMPANY. TY ANDI.

We had reservations for 7:30, and when we got there, the place was decently busy - a few empty tables here and there - so we were seated immediately. We ordered quickly after perusing the (rather short) menu, most of which was either small plates and cocktails .Our first plate was the hainan chicken arancini. I really liked the contrast in textures between the crispy exterior and the tender chicken and rice mix on the inside. Overall flavour was not bad, too, but I'm not sure that it was exactly good enough to merit the price point of $18. Next was the Xi'an street noodles, which was probably my favourite dish of the meal. The noodles were very well cooked - chewy but not too soft - and I loved the sauce, with the gentle peanut aroma on top of the various spices they used. One comment was that the chilli crisp, which was tasty, was very lacking (in amount) and as a consequence the dish was really not spicy at all. Finally we had the chilli crisp buffalo chicken. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the chicken was boneless (I was expecting something more like chicken wings), which made for very clean eating :) The buffalo sauce was nice (and perhaps a bit spicier than the aforementioned chilli crisp) and the chicken itself was very rich and juicy. Portion size was quite large too and overall I was very happy with this plate. For drinks we ordered the Jaded, which was a fun matcha-themed cocktail (even the marshmallow was matcha-flavoured) and a (spirit-free) cranberry limeade, which was surprisingly refreshing and sweet.Overall a yummy meal, but definitely very expensive. I would be interested to try some more of their cocktails, which seem very creative, but I'm not sure if I would be keen to come again primarily for the food. (To be fair, though, this is often the modus operandi of these restaurants that specialise in small plates and drinks )
