I met up with a friend for coffee. The space and staff are very welcoming. It was a great place to spend some time catching up with an old friend. The coffee was delicious and the overall experience was delightful.

Best waffles in Cambridge, and great coffee too. Love tro bike here to work in the mornings, or just grab a coffee to-go. I do miss the burger nights, though!

Pleasant ambiance, nice playlist. The hot waffles are yummy! But get them out of the paper very quickly or you'll be eating some of that paper glued by the sugar... Coffee wasn't "the best" in Boston, but it's smooth. Only issue was (the lack of) the space. It's very small and the few tables were hoarded by people on their laptops...

The service at this café is exceptionally kind, with the staff providing helpful recommendations and input throughout our visit. However, they do chat a lot, which can be a bit distracting as their voices carry. Nevertheless, this cute and quiet café provides an ideal ambiance for getting some quick work done! Alex and I ordered the Taza Mocha and the Cappuccino. Overall, both drinks could've been made hotter. They were both warm and got cold really quickly. There was a subtle touch of mocha, sourced from a local shop, which gave it a unique character. It resembled more of a plain latte due to its light flavoring. Nonetheless, the grainy texture added a natural feel that I appreciated. Personally, I quite enjoyed the mocha, but it's worth mentioning that I tend to prefer lighter, less intense flavors in my mocha drinks. For those who enjoy strong, bold mochas, this might not be the ideal choice. However, if you're like me and prefer something lighter with just a hint of mocha flavor without being overly sweet, then this drink is the perfect combination. The Cappuccino was okay. It didn't stand out. I wouldn't get it again. We also ordered the leige waffle. It was very flavorful but not too sweet - I kept craving more. As leige waffles typically aren't fluffy, it met my expectations perfectly. Although, I would have preferred it to be crispier, but the texture and density within the interior of the waffle was spot-on. I'm not sure if I'd visit again, but I definitely think it's worth the try!

Rude staff. Barista asked us why we had so many requests if we’re not tipping. I did tip FYI and I don’t need the attitude on the side. Making side comments and smirking. Work on your staff.

The cannoli waffle got me. Usually I don't revisit a place (especially this soon) unless it has a chokehold on me since I like to experience new places, but I saw an ad for the cannoli waffle, which was a weekend special only for the month of February, and it sounded so good that I had to come back. Had I gone on a Saturday instead of a Friday last time, I probably would not have been back twice in two weeks since my last experience was just ok. Despite the "no laptop" policy on weekends, there was still a decent amount of people, and a few were still working (just without laptops). My order took 5-6 minutes to prepare again. At $6.50, the cannoli waffle was more expensive than the everything with cream cheese waffle that I got last time. For the size and effort of these waffles, I feel like these should be priced at $5 tops. The texture of the waffle was consistent with my last experience: crunchy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. I like how the corners are like the the burnt edges of a brownie (aka the best part). The cannoli cream, however, was a letdown. The texture was mildly chunky and more like oatmeal than the thick cream you would find in a traditional cannoli, which was odd. I also feel like the chocolate chips would have elevated the waffle more had they been used as a filling rather than a topping. I enjoyed the everything with cream cheese waffle that I had last time more and probably would have preferred a plain waffle over this cannoli waffle. Conclusion: The waffles are good and worth trying, but skip on the cannoli waffle if you see it. I also feel like I can't give a 5 until I try their coffee again (and like it), given the name of this place.

Delicious liege waffle. Not too sweated and perfect texture. Went early in the morning on a weekday - plenty of seating.

It's a tiny shop but it's super cute, the waffle was delicious and so was the latte. Pricey, but to be expected in

Dropped by Curio Coffee on a Friday morning. All of the metered parking was already taken at this time, so I had to park a bit further and walk, so keep that in mind.I liked the rustic vibes and brown/black/green color scheme of the inside. Free Wi-Fi, so there were quite a few customers working, though there is a "no computers" policy on weekends.I ordered an everything with cream cheese Liège waffle and a miso caramel latte to go, which took about 5-6 minutes to prepare. The waffle tasted just as good as it smelled. There was a good topping to waffle ratio, and the waffle was crunchy on the outside but chewy on the inside. I recommend toasting it if you are taking it home, as the cream cheese tasted that much better slightly melted. The miso caramel latte, on the other hand, was disappointing. The miso caramel flavor was not prominent, so it just tasted like a regular hot coffee. I also think it was a bit pricy.Overall, I would pass on the coffee next time but would be interested in trying another waffle if I come back.

Everything was fine but not great. There are other coffee shops around here that I'd rather frequent.

Cozy spot for a cappuccino and the weekend waffle special. The cinnamon bun waffle is January's weekend waffle. Absolutely delicious!

A modest funky hole in the wall in a quiet neighborhood not far off the Somerville Community Path near its terminus, this place does excellent espressos under the severe gaze of the bull’s head watching from the wall above the espresso machine. Relaxed and friendly in a way only small, not trendy neighborhood coffee shops can be. It helps that the shop faces south and gets the morning sun, even in winter. They use their own roasted blend from Broadsheet Coffee Roasters on the other side of Cambridge (?). They also have a mean-looking pair of waffle machines…maybe next time!
