I visited this place because it was next to the hotel I was staying at and it was just me dining alone.I ordered lamb biryani medium and it did not disappoint. I think I could have handled hot though.Old monk beer recommendation was excellent (decently strong) and it was quite good pairing.

Food sits out long. Agree with other reviews. No taste and some not nice with not good attitude. Good placement in neighborhood though.

My recent visit to Desi Dhaba was nothing short of a culinary catastrophe, and I feel compelled to share my dreadful encounter. This eatery, which I had heard promising things about, left me convinced that their food poses a significant health risk. The initial impression was decent, with a rustic charm to the ambiance. However, any optimism was swiftly crushed by the appallingly lackluster service. The staff seemed indifferent and utterly uninformed about the menu, providing no guidance when I sought information on allergens or dietary restrictions. Now, let's delve into the heart of the matter - the food. I regretted . The flavor was mediocre at best, but the real nightmare unfolded a few hours later when I found myself grappling with a severe bout of food poisoning. Spare yourself the graphic details, but suffice it to say, it was a distressing experience.Perturbed by this, I attempted to communicate my concerns to the restaurant, only to be met with a dismissive response that showcased a blatant lack of accountability. To sum it up succinctly, if your well-being matters to you, I strongly advise steering clear of Desi Dhaba. The trifecta of abysmal service, tasteless fare, and the aftermath of food poisoning make it a dining venue to avoid at all costs. Spare yourself the agony and financial regret – there are countless alternatives that won't compromise your health and satisfaction.

One of the best buffet foods we had during our trip from Toronto to New York to Boston.Today we tried a buffet that had a massive range of food that any desi people crave to eat. The food items were rice, betray, pakora, naan, matar aalu, chana, palak paneer, butter chicken, chicken tikka, chai, ras gullay, etc and I don't hesitate to say it was amazingly phenomenal in taste, freshly made with love, and I was satisfied at the price of 14.99 for each person. The best part was meat was halal and they serve food to MIT as well which is just across the street if am not wrong. The ambiance inside was exotic, and I am convinced to immerse myself in dining there next time whenever I hop in the city again. The customer service was great, and everyone was very kind and helpful. They've been running this great restaurant for the last 22 years. Everyone was very kind and helpful. I mentioned in my previous experience at a different place. Caring makes a huge difference. It's not just the good taste of the food; sometimes, it's the little things that pull people in to experience it again.Overall, I'm impressed and come back again to dine in.

hands down, this Indian food/salsa club hybrid is the spiciest combination in Cambridge. I had the best time last friday night- 10/10 would recommend, even if I can't quite recall most of it.

Very discriminatory. I ordered my food for pick up, and when I told the server who I was after calling and reading my entire order to him, he not only asked me to show him my phone, but he proceeded to push buttons on my phone screen. I’m not quite sure what to identify this behavior as but I do feel as if it was inappropriate of him to invasively grab my phone without me, asking him or giving him permission. I definitely won’t be back

So much to love about this restaurant! We had the mattar paneer and dal makhani with some naan on the side. Serving size was just right - not too much or too little. Very flavorful and fresh. They let you choose the spiciness level for the food. Waiter was very friendly and accomodating throughout the evening. Beautiful decor and classy atmosphere. Looking forward to visiting here again!

Firstly the service wasn't cordial, the waiter was not able to articulate well enough. The food was tasteless. Very pricey for the quality of the food.
