After seeing so many donut shops in Boston I had to see what the attraction was. I picked the right place to visit The Donut Villa is a true bakery with numerous decadent offerings. Choosing what to try was a bit overwhelming and I found myself purchasing more than I intended because I couldn't make a decision. I bought 2 donuts, 2 cupcakes and a pastry. I thought I would nibble on a donut and eat the rest over the next couple of day. Wrong answer! The donut that I began with was so amazing that I just had taste the 2nd one which was another flavor. Both were excellent! But what took this experience to another level was the apple stuffed cinnamon roll! It was heavenly. I can't recall eating a pastry that brought me such delight. If I wasn't so far down the road I would've returned to get another one. I will definitely be visiting again whenever Im in Boston. Job well done!

Fun menu, the donut breakfast sandwich is alright and the pancakes are good. Unfortunately the chicken and waffle Benny (my wife's order) was absolutely awful. The chicken had 0 flavor what so ever, surprisingly one of the worse dishes that I have ever tasted at any diner. I took a few bites from her plate as we share everything we get for the sake of testing and such, I could not believe how disappointing that dish was— i wasn't even looking forward to it yet it disappointed more than the chiefs at the super bowl last year.

The service was nice though!

From the moment we walked in the service was 10/10 Enrique was a great waiter friendly and recommended some delicious options. The food was DELICIOUS! Make sure you try one of there donuts, you won’t regret it. Paolo the manager was so attentive to all the tables and on top of the kitchen making sure all the customers got their food as soon as it was done. Honestly such a great experience so happy I went and I will definitely be coming back when ever I’m back in the area. Overall I would give it a 20/10 thank you so much for the great service ! Keep up the great work.

Donut Villa Diner has an interesting and fun menu—everything from donuts to Benedicts, with eggs prepared any way you like and plenty of bread choices. It makes for a great brunch spot, and the food itself was tasty with fair prices. Service was decent, and the wait times weren’t bad.

That said, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The bathroom was absolutely filthy, with a toilet seat covered in urine and trash overflowing—I didn’t even end up using it. There was also a massive fly roaming around the dining area that multiple people were kicking at to get away, and while our server noticed, nothing was done about it.

Overall, the food and menu variety were solid, but the hygiene issues made the experience less enjoyable. With better attention to cleanliness, this could be a standout brunch spot.

Just ordered breakfast food from this place and they forgot half our order and the food we got was warm, not seasoned and barely edible. Avoid this place

Tasty neighborhood breakfast with friendly staff. Corned beef hash and eggs are my favorite. They’ll put their apple fritter or cinnamon roll on the grill (yum!)….Weekend brunch? They have a liquor license!

Went there today with my daughter, excited as I had been wanting to eat there for breakfast. Highly disappointed! Can’t tell if their specialty are the pancakes and donuts ONLY but I ordered an Avo Benny (Eggs Benedict with “seasoned” Avocado spread on English Muffin), which included home fries. Immediately as the plate was set down, I could smell old grease, Home Fries tasted like they had been fried in old Canola Oil. The Eggs Benedict were runny (egg whites), and the “seasoned” avocado was not so… no amount of salt and pepper could fix this overpriced breakfast. My daughter ordered an omelette which came out burnt. We picked at it, clearly not happy, paid and left. Not returning.

This place is almost great. I would have placed it four stars for my meal - a flavorful breakfast burrito with added impossible sausage - but no one else at my table particularly liked their meal. Donut breakfast sandwich and blueberry pancakes both were sub-par for a place that seems like they would excel at these options. And coffee was meh. But mimosa flight was fun! Seems like the menu quality is quite variable overall.

The inside is vintage and cute like you want it and there’s a pleasant quiet courtyard in the back. It’s nice for what it is - especially the veggie and vegan options. A bit disappointing for a first try, but it’s still worth another visit.

The chicken fingers are really good, the fries are great as well, and the waffles were amazing. The service was fairly fast, which is good for tight schedules. Definitely recommend!

If you’re looking for a diner, this place is not it. Don’t be fooled by the menu—the food is tasteless. Unfortunately, you’d be better off going to IHOP.
