Came here for an office event hosted in their private dining room. This place smells heavenly and fuels the appetite! There was a pre-curated menu for the event with choice of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The drinks menu covered beers, wine, spirits, and cocktails and the server was helpful in suggesting wine pairings with our food. I will come here again to try their happy hour menu!

5 stars! We had a last minute very large party to book. The staff was helpful and fast to get us a comfortable table for everyone at the right time. The food and service were top notch, highly recommend!

We had a private event for a work function with ~75-100 people. While it was not set-up to accommodate my dietary needs when we arrived, Kristen was quick to jump in and help me get something to eat. The solution wasn’t just okay, it was AMAZING (probably the best GF pizza I’ve ever had!) She then made sure as desserts came out I was taken care of as well. A+ to Kristen and her impeccable customer service.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

What an amazing meal. The calamari appetizer was the best calamari we ever had. I had a smoked piece of salmon with many flavors in a polenta sauce. It was such a unique blend of flavors. My wife had a traditional tenderloin filet with mashed potatoes. Both were fabulous. The wine list is not too extensive, but the wines we ordered by the glass were first rate and well poured. The service was exceptional. All in all a terrific experience.

EVOO delivers the same inventive and fresh cuisine that has been its hallmark for 25 years. The fried Rhode Island squid was perfectly crispy and exceptionally tender. The salad had all the right elements: spicy, sweet, crunchy and perfectly dressed. The Salmon Belly Teriyaki and the cob-smoked Salmon Fillet were both outstanding. Service is attentive and friendly aa always. An excellent choice for anyone who appreciates the freshest ingredients and creative preparation. Highly recommended.

Typical American fusion restaurant suited for corporate meals. When I heard that EVOO returned after the pandemic, I was excited to try them out. Just like other places around, it primarily caters to corporate clientele, but during our recent visit on a weekday night, the place was fairly empty. For the appetizers, we had the beef tartare and the rabbit rillette. The Beef Tartare was a fusion, merging Mexican flair with a classic tartare. The incorporation of pickled jalapeños, cilantro, and roasted peppers lent a familiar comfort to the dish. Though slightly dense, it was an applaudable twist. On the other hand, the Rabbit Rillettes was my favorite of the meal. The combination of foie gras with the sweetness of baked apples was delightful, and the accompanying celery root-apple salad injected a much-needed crunch and freshness.Unfortunately, the entrées were a bit disappointing. The Beef Tenderloin, while ambitious in its conception with roasted garlic cloves embedded within, faltered in execution. The meat seemed parched, and there wasn’t much flavor except for the Béarnaise sauce. The Chinese Box, while visually arresting, felt disjointed. The mustard glazed rock shrimp perched on top was flavorful, but the firm texture of the organic brown rice shifted the dish's balance, leaning it more towards a salad than a satisfying entrée.I’m not sure if EVOO’s return after the pandemic came with a huge facelift, but overall, it was a somewhat disappointing experience. It may be good for business meals, but probably not the best option for casual dinners.

The food is always creative and excellently prepared. Our dinner started with the bread and bean dip. We enjoyed it to the last bit of dip. Next we shared the beef tartar with the bread. Scrumptious. Especially loved the little bit of heat Peter adds to the tartar. I then had the Chinese Box which never disappoints. My husband had the salmon which was fried with a nice crust and a side sweet and sour salad. Delicious!! You can never go wrong at EVOO. Peter, the Chef, is always creative but keeps the emphasis on great flavor.

EVOO has long been one of my favorite restaurants. Pre-Covid, I had lunch there almost every week day. Post-Covid, they are only open for dinner, and only Tuesday-Friday, so I don't get there often. I took the opportunity of a late afternoon event nearby to have dinner on a Thursday night. We ordered a fried calamari dish for the table that was remarkably light and crunchy. Three of us then had the steak frites, which consisted of pieces of steak that were cooked perfectly and were tender and flavorful. It came with mushroom dusted fries. Our fourth diner had the signature Chinese Box in the all shrimp no beef version, which is always excellent.

Each time, in Evoo, it has been a great experience. Last Thursday, once again, it was an amazing experience. The services was outstanding, the food quality of food was great. We were in the ‘library' corner, where it's not noisy at all, so I was able to discuss with one of my friends that I didn't met over the last six years. Thanks you a lot for this nice experience to you Christine and to a server (a white hair charming man).

The menu is a bit all over the place but so good! We had a business dinner with eight people and we had no complaints. Very good food and so fresh.

EVOO locally sources all its ingredients to the extent realistic and even grows some on their own rooftop. The food is consistent, flavorful, beautifully presented and, most importantly, delicious. The service is exceptional and has very low turn over because they treat every one well in their running of the restaurant. A modern and pleasant setting with light music and ability to hear everyone at your table. Nice seats by open kitchen too if desired and excellent wines curated by a dedicated beverage director.

I say the same thing every time we dine at EVOO. Great food and wonderful service. The dining experience is always first-rate. New exciting choices joining old standbys. And an atmosphere both professional and personal. Always great.
