Really good food and very affordable considering it is in Harvard square.

We had mushroom burger, fish burger and pulled pork burger. They were quality for a quick lunch. I like the pulled pork and fish better.

Great food, great value, good with allergies. Doesn't get better for the price.

Date of visit: 10/20/19 The only really good thing about this restaurant was the prices. The smallest error was that salesperson that took my name didn't understand it and instead of calling customers by number, they use names. So, when she went to call me (my dining comrade and I had already taken seats in the one table downstairs) in her tiny voice we didn't hear her. After waiting ever so long I finally approached the counter and pointed at my receipt to ask where the food was and they pointed over at the warming shelf. Advice: Use numbers for orders! And, if no one responds at first, yell or circulate around the seating area...Second problem: The sign on the bathroom door is broken and it constantly says, "In use" in Red. Presumably there is a green part to the sign that says, "available", but, I messed with the lock after I'd used the bathroom and couldn't get it to green. I spent a few pointless minutes waiting outside an unoccupied bathroom.. Grrr... Advice: Fix the dang door lock! Next problem, after I ordered my IBC Rootbeer (specifically marked on the menu) I was told I would have to consume it in the restaurant. Puzzled, but, undeterred I agreed. Little did I know that she had interpreted my order as "IPA" and a few moments later a Goose Island IPA was brought to my table. Aye! I checked my receipt and sure enough there the beer was! Advice: Change the menu to say just Root Beer, so there isn't this confusing IPA v. IBC problem. Next problem: A yellow and a red plastic squeezy bottle are available on the condiment counter. Guess what's in them??? Not mustard and ketchup! Mustard and Sriracha Sauce! When we observed this to the host, he claimed that it was labeled (and in faded magic marker, this was basically true if you turned the red bottle around). Don't you know that those bottles are universal signs for Mustard and Ketchup across the US??? Advice: Put the sriracha sauce in a Clear plastic squeezy bottle and label that. Also, the ketchup dispenser is broken. The metal box dispenser can be pushed down to dispense ketchup only if it is first pulled up. This is BROKEN! Advice: Fix it or purchase another whose piston goes back up!!! And finally, food information: The cashier could not adequately describe whether or not the "Veggie Burger" was a vegetarian burger or a regular burger with some veggie treats on it.. We took our chances and it worked out (looking for a vegetarian burger). Advice: Be sure that the cashier knows specifically that the "Veggie Burger" is vegetarian! Lastly, the Asian salad was the perfect crispness combined with only subtlest of taste. There were very few toasted almonds, nonexistent scallions, limited crunchy noodles and enough dressing for a salad 1/4 the size of this one. Being food waste conscious I ate it, but, it was Not a treat to be sure. Advice: Up the toasted almonds, the crunchy noodles and put out some additional dressing on the condiment shelf or offer more dressing on the side.... SO, if you're stuck in interstellar space with no alternatives for nourishment or you're literally broke, stop by the place. It'll prevent starvation! In other cases, do your level best to walk on by...

The service was excellent, waiting time was short, and the prices rival fast food chains. They're burgers are amazing, if your in town I'd recommend eating there.

The last time I was there, over the summer, the food was nothing special. I thought I'd treat myself and get a strawberry milkshake. For $3.50, I got a children's sized drink. I noticed the woman was scooping out vanilla ice cream so I mentioned I ordered strawberry not vanilla. She said "I know" and then proceeded to add strawberry syrup. Refreshing on a warm summer day but more milk than ice cream, barely tasted like strawberry and definitely not worth the price. Closing at the end of the year.

I get up to the counter and after every word I spoke, the cashier kept saying "huh, huh, huh", that was annoying repeating myself. Then when I caught one of the ladies warming up my bun in the microwave, I knew this place was not thorough. Then they proceeded to stand around just yacking away in español and laughing out loud over the annoying (and too loud) Spanish music playing. The server then threw my napkins right over the oily fries and didn't even say thank you nor enjoy, just put the plate there and then walked off. The food was decent, but screw this place! Maybe if I had ordered in Spanish, they would've treated me better.

The bread was not fresh I could tell that it was from yesterday but reheated, the meat was cold and tasteless. I have no idea these 4 rating for what I guess if you are not used to quality food this may sound delicious. Never come back

Super tasty and affordable burgers! If you like a little spicy then adding the jalapeños is a must. But if you're vegan it's kinda tricky. I don't think the lady who took our order understood the difference between vegan and vegetarian. Bun is toasted with butter so make sure you make a point in no butter.

I'm not much of a meat eater and I can't remember the last time I ordered a burger but I am so glad that the delicious smell of grilled meat caught my attention while visiting Cambridge. I ordered the European burger and onion rings. Onion rings were probably the best I've ever had. Perfect balance of crispness and breading and seasoned perfectly. Burger was very good, perfectly cooked with a pink interior and a good size that wasn't so big you couldn't eat it. The bun was excellent! I also loved the self-serve condiment station with mustard, ketchup, pickles, onions, jalapeños, and pickled onions. Excellent place! I'll go back next time I'm in Cambridge.

Good burgers with great sides and condiments at an awesome price. We had two cheeseburgers with American cheese, fries, onion rings, pickles and coleslaw all for... wait for it... $17.23! Keep in mind that this place is in the middle of Harvard Square! The burger is by no means mind-blowing but is definitely solid. The patty is cooked medium and served with shredded iceberg, tomato and special sauce. All of this worked and the food could be further dressed with offerings from a fantastic condiment bar that included delicious pickled jalapeños. I didn't love the bun which was spongey and became soggy and found the French fries to be mediocre. The onion rings, on the other hand, were outstanding and the coleslaw was proper. The homemade pickle was the surprise of the meal- massive, crunchy and delicious. We went at a time when it wasn't crowded and had a pleasant experience ordering and eating. The staff was nice and happily accommodated us after we wanted to change the order slightly after the transaction had been closed. That can be annoying and we appreciated the good service. If you find yourself in Harvard square and want an interesting alternative to Shake Shack or Tasty Burger then Flat Patties is a great choice. And if burgers aren't your thing there are a wide variety of sandwiches and salads as well.

My roast beef sandwhich was pretty good, but there was a lot of bread for the amount of meat. You have to order your fries (or other side) separately, and the fries were very greasy. The price was definitely pretty good, so I'll probably be back when I need a quick meal!

Very delicious burgers and fries. We ordered twice actually. It's a good place for a quick delicious bite

It was decent and tasty. You can add ketchup and mustard on the table near the entrance. Upstairs was empty. Very greasy.
