Frank's Steak House

The sizzler was well worth it. It is a very good steak and a great value. The waitress was very accommodating and helpful. I will return.

Upon entering the restaurant we received a pleasant greeting. Our first experience called for a soon return. Everything was very good 👍. That pork chop reminded me of the natural way we cooked in the islands.. perfect 👌. The steak was deliche....can't wait to visit again

Went for my birthday, and had amazing BBQ steak tips and Oreo ice cream cake! One of the best meals I've had. Perfect birthday experience!

We had the most wonderful service with Emily! She's a gem. Frank's is an old school steakhouse and it's super fabulous! The ambience is comforting and perfect! The food is excellent and the quality to price ratio is refreshing!! This institution is worth preserving and hopefully will continue its tradition for the next generations to enjoy as well. Love Frank's!!

I wanted to go to a smaller independent restaurant for my birthday dinner. We made reservations for a table of four. I had read the other reviews and let my family know the biggest complaint was the steaks being overcooked- so I encouraged them to order them less well cooked than their usual. All in all it was a pretty terrible experience. The host was nice but our server was abrupt and unfriendly- despite ordering steaks on the rarer side- they were still overcooked. The mozzarella appetizer and wings were fantastic but for an Italian steak house (even a lower end one) serving bruschetta with literally ice cold tomato and basil chunks chopped that big was disconcerting. (I know the tomato/basil mixture is supposed to be cold but not freezer temperature cold). I would have said something about the food or service- but no one asked. I made the assumption that an Italian restaurant would have espresso- but was told they just had coffee. I thought maybe I was just being too critical but when we all got home my family was pretty clear that they all thought it was awful. I thought with all the awards the restaurant had received and how well known it is that the service at least would have been better- but unfortunately the restaurant missed on everything- service, food, steaks. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for anything other than wings and maybe watching a game. :(

Franks is a local gem. There are fancier steak houses around, and this is not for those who need an ego stroke. It's Steak at a fair price with the basics you want for sides in a non-pretentious atmosphere. I eat here 5-6 times a year and had some catching up to do with an old friend. Our server recognized this and gave us plenty of room/time while also being attentive.

It was a great dinner! I hadn't been to Frank's in a few years. I was heading into the city with my in-laws and was looking for a good place to eat that didn't have the Boston prices. Combo Appetizer was spot on. Steaks and sides were all delicious and dessert was fantastic. Service was great too. Great place for dinner.

there are other sites that rate it higher, but I would say that yelp is most accurate. overall, the service was good and the prices are very reasonable and you can get a pretty decent meal. All our steaks were overcooked but edible. I ordered my steak, medium rare and it came out medium well. it took a little while to get the food out so it's slower than we had hoped. The French onion soup and corn chowder were fine and tasty. overall, I wouldn't rush out there if you wanted a good steak, but it's still apretty decent local meal locally. The staff were all very friendly

First time here and it was EXCELLENT. We absolutely loved the old school atmosphere..service was great and steaks were phenomenal! Anyone rating this place less than 5 stars isn't right in the head.

I have been going to Franks for many years and and will be visiting again soon. Franks is the best of the best in old school fantastic steaks incredible bar tenders and waitstaff , and my only go to for old fashioned good food and drink please check them out ! Franks is an iconic place and a valuable asset to New England !
