My bartender this night was Zack. He was intuitive and an informative bartender who brings atmosphere to those around him. The decor is colorful and inviting. Modern lighting, not to bright, but not too dark. Almost a space like atmosphere. Clean, tidy and top notch. The menu is inviting with many choices. Appetizers, meals and even desert...try the Ruben it is mouth watering! Also if Damian is working the kitchen that night your going to end up with the most flavorful meal. He is a master of his skills. I highly recommend the food, drinks and atmosphere.

Excellent stay in a great location. From the moment you check in "Yodit's radiant smile welcomes you in to the oasis away from the bustling city that is Cambridge. The secret garden is very zen and the friendly bartender, Anissa is great at what she does. I'll definitely stay here again.

I was traveling to Boston by myself for business from Chicago. When I called the Freepoint hotel to confirm my stay and the address before I ordered an uber the front desk staff could tell I was a little tired and overwhelmed. He went all the way out of his way and said he would send a car for me to make sure I made it safely to the hotel. He ordered the lyft, waited on the phone with me for the confirmation, paid for the lyft, and when I arrived greeted me with a big smile. That was suburb customer service! I truly appreciated him and all he did to make sure I had a great stay. Thank you Freepoint!

So, I've just returned from a three day stay at the Freepoint Tapestry Hotel in Cambridge. This is my second stay at this property, which is literally a seven-minute walk from one of my work's offices. I thought the first stay was pretty good (August of 2022) but this year was even better. The decor is nice, low-key, kinda techie like (it has a tech theme so that would explain it), and the rooms I've had there have been moderate to large. The bath products are nice, and the room has all the amenities including a fridge, which is becoming a rarity these days. Being eco-friendly and -focused, you do have to request cleaning service, but that's easy to do with just a sign outside the door. They just recently put in a full dining service with a kickass chef who I got to meet personally. I had the opportunity to try a couple of their flatbread creations (arugula, mushroom, and a tomato, cheese, prosciutto) and they were fantastic (not overstating here. Mushrooms aren’t my go-to and this was great). They have a full bar, a nice area with a pool table, a nice garden area with a fire pit (handy anytime during the year but especially during the winter), and they have their own entrance to the Starbucks. What I really appreciate was the service and kindness of the staff. I got in really late after a long, long day of travel and just a cluster of a situation for a hotel. Technically, I was only supposed to stay for one night because the hotel was booked beyond booked. I was met at the desk by Noah (office operations) and Trsi (front desk manager) who were friendly and kind, and immediately took the grinch out of my grouch. When I told them my situation, they immediately found me another night (in the same room) and told me that they would keep an eye out for any cancellations for the third. I was relieved. I later met Eric, who is the sales manager who was equally as kind and was able to guarantee me a third night. Again, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and this will be my continued go to hotel when in the Boston area.

The lobby and courtyard look really well done. The hallway gives me Shining vibes, it’s just dark and a bit dingy. The room…it’s so odd the half reno that was done. The bathroom shower and floor tiles are lovely but the walls were not redone, paint is chipping, old fixtures rusting, old door and old trim were left giving it a really odd vibe. The bed is actually lopsided ? and of course lumpy. But it’s clean and will work for my 2 night stay. Parking at night felt safe. 20 mins outside of the city. It’s a decent area and the nightly charge and parking fee were less than most others. Our check in was a smooth process and so far everyone at the hotel has been really great, from breakfast to front desk, amazing customer service!!

Room was fine. A bit small. Storage was lacking. Linens were clean. Exposed brick was nice. Attached Starbucks was a big bonus. Close to restaurants and attractions. Didn’t get a chance to visit the restaurant.

We had another excellent stay at this fine hotel. The accommodations are first class and the personnel are especially noteworthy, including Noah at reception and Robin at the restaurant. All in all a wonderful stay.

Damien - the chef at Freepoint Restaurant served me amazing dinner after long day at work. I started with the ceaser salad & buffalo flatbread and finished with amazing cheesecake. Overall this hotel has beautiful affordable rooms and their secret garden and lounge is warm & comforting. That what i look for a quaint hotel. They have starbucks and thats a plus and wholefoods / trader joes if want something organic. Not far from the red line. This is amazing hotel & noah & monty made even more special. Ill be back

First let me say that the staff at this hotel were exemplary and everything that the Hilton brand projects. They were friendly, courteous, and made sure that with every interaction with them we were happy with our choice. Now; this is a "inner city" accommodation, in a town known as a college town (lots of prospectives and families checking out the numerous universities. We were one of those once), also popular as a tourist destination, so they get a lot of movement through the rooms, but... I get that the rooms are relatively small (it seems a lot smaller than all of their competitors and we have stayed at most of them) since they have a very regular turn over, and honestly, that is fine, we don't live in the hotel room, but for the love all that is holy, and my poor old back, could they at least replace the mattresses so that I am not sleeping in a pit of despair? Of all the other competitors in the area, this was the only place we stayed where we were not able to get that first "OMG I have to face the day" cup of coffee in the lobby before deciding on breakfast. That will be a deciding factor in our next booking in our Bimonthly trip into the area (family). They charge for parking, that is not unusual in the Boston/Cambridge metro area. There is a full bar and food service available, but as I said, no morning coffee unless you go to the full service Starbucks attached to the hotel. Our bathroom facility was clean, but so very dated, circa 1990's. I mean seriously, what's with the black features and the subway tiles? At $300+ for one night, I wanted a cup of coffee in the morning!

I want to take this opportunity to compliment Damien - the restaurant food guru. Last night - after a 2 hour ride to work, he found out that the bartender wasn't going to be there. After being given an opportunity to just close or do both jobs, he made a stellar evening for most of us. The bar and restaurant was crowded for this facility and not only did he manage to produce great food, he also (with the help of us all) served us wine, beer and an occasional cocktail while simultaneously cooking, cleaning, bussing and making everyone feel very comfortable in spite of the difficult situation he was in. I work in the hospitality industry and wish I could find 20 of him. Thank you Damien!

Lobby is spectacular rooms are, dated, spartan, functional, minimalist, clean, and quiet. Windows overlook a well lit parking lot, roundabout, trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods. If posh is what you’re looking for the Freepoint is not for you. If value, function, and location are important freepoint is fantastic. From the Hilton Freepoint, a 10 minute walk to Alewife station brings you to all things in Boston. Guests are met by a fantastic reception team. Needs and requests are immediately fulfilled. I would like to specifically shout out, Noah, who made us feel welcome and cared for at our check in and throughout our stay. When returning to Boston, and looking for value, I will return to the Freepoint.
