If you are looking for Italian food this is not the place for you! The food was fine, but it was just nouveau fare. Service was fine. They definitely have a focus on wines, and drinks but the food was not special at all and certainly not classic italian or even nouveau italian.
First time at Geppetto, from start to finish it was an excellent experience while celebrating our anniversary. The staff was attentive, professional and friendly; our waiter Brian was very knowledgeable of both food and wine options and very engaged throughout the evening. The fried mozzarella starter was delicious as were the two pasta dishes we chose from the very appealing menu options- spicy lobster spaghetti and that evening's special, pasta with black truffle and a delectable cheese sauce. Looking forward to returning to Geppetto.
I'm not sure if it was an off night, but the kitchen was really slow. They brought us an extra appetizer to make up for it.
The arancini were delicious. We followed with the burrata and then the lamb with pasta. I cannot say how much we enjoyed every bite. The dessert was a creamy mouthful of lightness finished with chopped nuts. We look forward to coming back.
Food was good a little too rich more citrus less fat. Server was charming and friendly Could have been warmer
Excellent food and service! Our server Brian went above and beyond to assist us in celebrating a birthday. We will definitely be back!
TLDR Went there for date night with wife while daughters had a quaint dinner party for one of their birthdays with a couple of friends. One dish stood out. The other was meh. The spicy lobster pasta was to die for. Very flavorful and had a bit of spice. The gnocchi guanciale was OK. I would say it would be better if it was less creamy and had more meat. The chef acted as if there was a global pork shortage. Taste was still OK. Not great. The lobster pasta made up for it.
Our server Brian was incredible, so friendly, and knowledgeable of the whole menu, he gave great recommendations! The ambiance was very inviting as well. Will definitely be back!
What a great place - from the moment we walked in until we left, the service was top notch and the vibes were superb. Definitely worth a visit!
A fabulous first experience at Geppetto. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all exemplary! We will be coming back!

This was our first time at Geppetto, but we will be back and have already recommended it to others. The decor is gorgeous, table settings were class, and music playlist was on point (multiple times throughout dinner we said to ourselves “Oh, great song”) but also was not too loud so conversation was easy. Every dish was enjoyable. The braised lamb mafaldine was the highlight for me. I believe this is only for the Dine Out Boston menu, but would love to see this added to the regular menu going forward. Other things we ordered were tuna carpaccio, whipped ricotta crostini, shrimp bruschetta, grilled ribeye, and pistachio/cherry gelato (this tasted almost like PB&J, but the pistachio is the “nut”). I'd recommend all of these dishes to future diners, but the one I personally wouldn't do again is the tuna carpaccio. The cut of tuna was perfect, the sauce just needed a different flavor profile for me (something salty/citrusy as opposed to the onion/creamy this one had going on). Shoutout to our server Samantha - she made our experience so enjoyable by pacing the courses well, offering detailed descriptions, and just being an overall pleasant/positive person!
First time to Geppetto's, did not disappoint. The food was phenomenal, and Brian, our server, was as well! The most enjoyable experience. Will be returning.
very small menu. limited cocktail options. only one rose and orange wine by the glass. cute small touches. good glassware. service was good in that they spaced out our courses and provided fresh silverware for each one. the olives were yummy with fresh citrus zest, but the ricotta toast was nice.the bolognese was good but not a true bolognese. was a mix between a vodka sauce and a bolognese. was a very creamy bolognese in my opinion.the lobster rigatoni that caroline got was good. kinda wish i got that. very creamy. good spicy vodka sauce.
Amazing experience! Our waiter did a great job helping us choose what to get with so many great options. Vibes were high deff coming again
highly recommend! food was great service was even better. 70$ prefix menu was well worth it
