This is a popular pub in Cambridge. In the front is a very noisy bar, but in the back is a restaurant where it is quiet enough to be able to have a nice conversation. We ordered hors d’oeuvres that were all delicious including rice balls, a hummus platter, and a spinach artichoke dip. The salads were delicious. I had one topped with tender chicken and my husband had one tapped with very well prepared salmon. The wine was delicious too. Portions were large and service was good.
Arrived early (5:30 pm) on a Friday night, The Pub was busy and not overly loud. Table service was timely. Food came out well presented and in good time. By 6:45, there was a line at the door to get in and the level of background conversation was significant enough that we left to find quieter quarters in which to complete our dinner conversation. We'd go back... a bit earlier... We enjoyed the food and our server.
The menu is strange. There is no cohesive culinary identity and it half-asses pub gastronomy. My dining mates enjoyed their meals but mine was cold, fatty, and under-seasoned. The atmosphere is cool, though cool seating has been valued over functional seating. I do not believe this restaurant is ADA accessible.
