Gran Gusto is a neighborhood gem. The food is always delicious. The fig appetizer and Ricotta pie was exceptional. Wonderful and welcoming staff! We will be back soon.

I have been going to this restaurant for the past three decades. For the past five years, I have been unable to go and was looking very much forward to being able to go again. However, when we arrived, nobody greeted us at the door, staff walked past us left and right as if they were expecting nobody. I finally stopped one person and gave my name and reservation time and was seated temporarily while they looked for a table. Nothing was available without an hour's wait unless we wished to have the unfinished table we were sitting at set up. Having no alternative, we accepted the rather insulting condition. The waitress was wonderful and the food was great, but the atmosphere had been ruined.

Really good food. This was my 3rd time there. No sure what's going on with the service but had to wait 40 mins despite a reservation (we almost walked out). No apology or anything. Extremely slow service. Not sure if they cannot manage the logistics and the timings or were short staffed but don't think will come back again after this experience.

The food is high quality and thoughtfully prepared. It has a lot of character and depth. The wine menu is average ... Some decent $10-$25 at retail bottles. I wish the owners understood the art of service a little more. The table next to us was seated 30 mins late too despite a reservation and they indicated they will not be returning. Respect for time the the first rule of service.

Gran Gusto is a pleasant, attractive restaurant with a good menu and excellent staff. Our selected dishes were generally good although the pear and blue cheese salad with lemon dressing was so overwhelmingly lemony that it couldn't be finished.

I’m sure the food is probably great. But the manager or owner was not welcoming. Maybe because we are colored.

Excellent food, from appetizers to pizza, pasta, secondi, desserts. Large wine selection. Cocktails. The owner is Italian and personally makes sure that everyone is taken care of. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

The food was great but we were seated next to a bunch of tables with unruly kids running around and yelling, so it felt like we were having a meal at Chucky Cheese. The restaurant made no effort to make them stop, and in addition stood around our table to talk to other guests. Being surrounded by chattering people standing right next to our table made us feel suffocated. Please think of creative ways to keep the foot traffic and the up-close-and-personal conversations to a minimum so that other guests may enjoy they dining experience.

Gran Gusto is a gem that I hope few people discover because those of us who know it want to keep it to ourselves.!!!!!!! The food is unbelievable in taste, quality, and presentation. And I love the staff. Thanks for a very delightful date night.

If you are looking for TRUE Italian food, look no further! No other place I've tried in the area gets even close. If you are in the mood for a seriously delicious pizza, go to see Antonio (the owner) - you won't regret it!!

Great Italian food (especially the pastas, the eggplant lasagna and the pizzas). Very reasonable prices, including for the alcohol. Cheerful wait staff (at least ours was). Things move at a pleasant, moderate pace, so it's good to go there when you're not in a rush to get somewhere. We've been going there for over 20 years!

Felt very comfortable, good food, relaxed atmosphere. The local place with Italian food that I have been looking around for, one to go to on a regular basis. For once, a place that really feels like an Italian trattoria,
