One of my favorite places of all time. I am heartbroken that I cannot glean any information on their plans to reopen or how we can keep this invaluable neighborhood spot open. This pains me to say because normally my friends and I LOVE green street, but on our last visit there were MICE. Black little mice running around on the ground and the waitress seemed nonchalant and told us they were "working on the problem." unable to eat, we asked for the check (they didnt comp the whole meal, just the drinks) and we left. I'm disappointed.

Love the feel of this hidden gem. Comfortable vibes with a menu I couldn't resist. So many things I wanted to try, I landed on the grilled cheese and tomato soup which totally delivered.

I came here with 3 friends before the dinner rush for drinks and apps and we had a great time! Waitstaff were friendly and the atmosphere was very comfortable, yet refined. Happy to find this little gem off the more well-trodden paths around Central Sq.

My friend and I sat at the bar and were charged together without asking. When I asked the person behind the counter that was helping the 2 bartenders to charge my friend for 2 of the drinks and charge me for the rest he said he could only split the bill which made no sense to me because we were at the bar and shouldn't have been charged together without asking anyway. Then the guy wouldn't walk away until I gave him my card and was being rude, it made us uncomfortable, turning what was a good night there into a not so good night. The service and food are usually pretty good when I go there.

Ordered the yucca with chicharron (I grew up in Latin America so know the dish well); stringy, over-fried with fatty chicharron- inedible- asked for a simple gimlet but got acidic lemonade in a regular glass- had to send it back for a proper martini glass which I ordered from our first waiter- partner ordered a tequila but the waiter didn't know what the restaurant offered- second waiter who brought the check didn't notice the almost complete uneaten plate of yucca - when I told him it was 'not good', he whipped off, stormed back with the check, and noisily cleared our plates and glasses- grow up, kids- you're supposed to apologize for bad food and know what your restaurant offers- the place is a terrible place for a conversation- everyone is yelling over each other- we tried (and we're Cambridge folks who like to support local businesses) and tried but won't be back-

Was looking forward to dining here but unfortunately was disappointed. The rib eye dish came out semi warm like it had been sitting for some time. The potato gratin was interesting, cut into squares but was cold (not sure if that's the way it's served there) and it had an acrid / sour taste. The apps however were great and hot, and the drinks were tasty so maybe we will come again just for drinks and apps.
