I had sword fish, it seems newly, like it had been previously frozen and it was way too salty.
Lovely meal. All around. Food and service. We dine there frequently and does not disappoint.
We were there for a late lunch at 1:30 therefore very quiet. Waiter was attentive but not overbearing. All in all a great dining experience for two friends.
The food was good. Our server was outstanding. This is a good place for a large group as they have several tables that will accommodate the group comfortably.
atmosphere, food and service are always great!! And always enjoy coming back. We've been coming to the Harvest for over 40 years. My only complaint is they no longer have the great bread basket that they had years ago with a variety of breads. The bread now is dull. Otherwise, highly recommend the Harvest!!
Great brunch and service. The fried chicken was and calamari were both very tender and flavorful. The crab eggs Benedict had a light creamy hollandaise sauce which did not overpower the dish. Excellent overall.
Server seemed in the weeds even though it wasn't that busy. Our appetizers arrived before we ordered the rest of our meal or got drinks so it was awkward. And, either the server was checking in too frequently or we couldn't be her attention when we needed something - it was a bit frustrating. The wine list was great and overall the food was good, though one person ordered the halibut and it was a bit salty and overcooked.
We had an informative talk with the bartender Esteban about THE COCKTAIL OLD FASHIOND OUR SERVER ALSO HAD helpful ideas about ordering The tasting menu was superb We both enjoyed each course Good job. HARVEST !
Excellent restaurant for any occasion and very attentive to my Celiac Disease requirements.
Always comfortable, delicious with great service. And my friend and I really appreciated being able to hear each other!

We arrived early to enjoy cocktails. Room was made for us at the bar. Cocktails were excellent. When or reservation time rolled around, we were given a choice of tables and seated promptly. Service was excellent and food outstanding. After, we went back to the bar and enjoyed conversation with the bar tenders, who were very knowledgeable, friendly, good teachers, and generous. Great night!
Food was solid but unexciting, except for the bread which was definitely old, and the granola on the dessert that was rancid. They kindly took the dessert off the bill.
This spot is always a favorite — if not for the food, then certainly for the atmosphere. The service is consistently impeccable, and the menu offers a wonderful range of choices, from vegetarian dishes to meats and fish. On this visit, we started with the salad topped with goat cheese croquettes, which was divine, and the roast chestnut agnolotti. For our mains, we both chose fish — the swordfish and the halibut. The swordfish was excellent, though the halibut was just slightly overcooked. I continue to enjoy going here but because it is pricey it is only for special occasions for me.

Dined there this evening with family. Probably the worst meal that we have had during our week-long visit to the Boston area. The curry mussels were abominable. The chestnut agnolotti was not any better. The person in our party who ordered the rigatoni could barely take two bites. The service was disappointing with the server yelling at me (the host) across the table and trying to rush me into signing the check. The prices here are vastly out of proportion to the quality of the food or the service.
This was our first time at Harvest. Our party of five all loved our meals including a burger, crabmeat eggs benedict, and omelette. Everything was made with fresh ingredients and arrived in a timely manner. Our waiter was as very friendly and never rushed us. The patio was warm & cozy even on a November afternoon. Would be repeat customers next time we're in Cambridge!
