Definitely an upscale place where people dress up. I was definitely not dressed for the occasion and yet all staff members were still very kind and attentive. It was pretty packed for a Tuesday night but service was still quick and my food was phenomenal! I got the salmon and it was delicious. I also enjoyed my cocktail. I came here in March but could see that they had a beautiful outdoor space. I will definitely be coming back in the summer to sit outside and enjoy this place again.

I’ve eaten at my fair share of Boston/Cambridge restaurants as a local and will never stop recommending Harvest to anyone who asks me where to eat in the area. From start to finish I’ve never been anything but impressed by the level of service, quality and overall demeanor of every employee there. While I’ve had several occasions to dine there, my most recent experience was to celebrate a close friend’s upcoming second baby with a small girl’s brunch for 6 of us. Knowing the occasion beforehand, they made sure to offer an extensive list of mocktails to the expecting mother (and had real options - not just a bucket of sugar dumped in a soda water). Everything came out to perfection and the level of care was apparent in every step that they took during our brunch. Courtney was our server and she went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We all tried everything from the burgers to the crab cake Benedict and loved it all! My pro tip - the mushroom tartine was light and full of flavor which left more room for me to eat as many of the incredible pastries and desserts as I could. If you go to brunch and skip on the cinnamon roll, coffee cake or any of the muffins, you’re making a mistake as they stole the show! I’ll let the pineapple cheesecake photo speak for itself.Anyways! If you couldn’t tell, I would recommend Harvest for any occasion and if you don’t have one, make one up to give yourself a chance to treat yourself to one of the best meals you can get in the Boston area.

Sat outside for brunch, it was excellent. Started with Apple Walnut Salad (amazing), enjoyed the burger (maximize flavor with the aioli), and ended with the apple crepe. Wonderful experience and highly recommend. We will be back to try dinner.

Came for Dine Out Boston lunch! Tbh not all the deals are great (i.e. you're better off ordering off the normal menu), but Harvest's is. Lunch was very tasty and definitely worth at $32 for 3 courses. Great service and relaxed upscale environment. * Free cornbread was yummm * Apps: green bean tempura, escalivada. Preferred the green beans, came with a great avocado sauce. * Entrees: shrimp linguini, short rib quesadilla. The shrimp and sauce were good, noodles just average. Skip the quesadilla--little meat and cheese, weird flavor combo with pear. * Desserts: kiwi cheesecake, chocolate mandarin torte. The cheesecake was so light and fresh. My friend hated the torte but I thought it was good lol. Very rich.

Had a wonderful experience this past Monday. I'd like to give a special shout out to Shannon who was absolutely amazing! She helped my friend and I at the bar and was extremely helpful making recommendations which we are glad we followed. Her kind demeanor and helpfulness make her an asset to Harvest and I will be back next time I am in town just to see her.

Came here on a weeknight for a work dinner and we had a great time - good food, decent service, and nice ambiance. We had a larger party with a reservation and getting seated/situated wasn't an issue at all. Service was on the slower side, but they also were pretty attentive so perhaps there was just a lag due to the number of people in our party. The menu had a good mix of dishes to satisfy any sort of craving, although the portions were pretty small for the price and weren't super high quality. Nonetheless, things were tasty and we enjoyed the meal overall - I probably wouldn't come back unless it was a special event, but we had a nice time! Thanks, Harvest!

This restaurant is expensive for sure. I got the Braised Lamb Pappardelle and it's pretty good. The lamb and the pasta is very flavorful. But they probably put too much butter to cook as my stomach was a bit upset because of the grease for the rest of the night. Their sorbet is innovative but I don't like the flavors. I wish the restaurant has a bit better ventilation as my clothes have the food flavor after dining there.

Paul was a personable and friendly server and gave great recommendations on food and drink. Definitely recommend wine + the pasta dishes, also the butterscotch tart was incredible. The menu rotates every 3 months and some of the items listed on OpenTable were not on the menu when we dined there fyi

Excellent brunch on a Sunday. Kind of wish they offered their normal lunch menu. Bloodies were terrific and burger was terrific. Dessert menu is somewhat tired, but saved me from extra calories. Got a cheese plate but it really should have had honey, not jam (Humboldt Fog) and a walnut bread would have been better than baguette.

A great Cambridge institution, long may it thrive! But our most recent meal was disappointing. Banquette seating was much too tight. Simply too many diners packed into too little space. Conversation on both sides of our table for two was irritatingly intrusive. Salads and mock-tails were great, but the pasta with duck bacon turned out to be not much more than a vehicle for cheese. Hoping for better luck next time, perhaps in warmer weather when outdoor dining is possible or with friends at a freestanding table for four or six.

First time here, gods was ok not great! My tuna had fried onions bizarre and the venison that is supposed to be the signature dish was dry and had some raw onions with it and some weird size pieces , not impressed The sticky toffee was very good

Another amazing Harvest meal! Whether here for brunch, lunch, or dinner (and I can personally vouch for all three settings) this place never disappoints. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is fab, the wine list is extensive, and the vibe is posh but chill - as in, you could be here all dolled up for a special occasion and would feel in place, or just in business casual for a solo lunch pretty much on the fly (as I was this time around.) Can't say enough good things about this Cambridge gem!

The reception we received upon entering the restaurant and the service was outstanding. The food was excellent, but a bread roll would have been a nice addition. Brian our waiter was pleasant and attended to each of our requests promptly and graciously. The ambience of the outdoor patio was especially lovely, even cozy on a cold winter day.

This was my first back at Harvest in about four years, and it was even better than I remembered. The food was excellent, the service just right, and I had a lovely time. I particularly appreciated welcome I was made as a solo diner, which sadly cannot be taken for granted.
