I am in love with the brownie cookies at this cafe. I would like to know how and what gets put into them, these cookies were the highlight of my summer experience. The cake slices are good too, I would personally rate the decadent chocolate cake > the cheesecake >= the carrot cake. However, I think about these cookies on a regular basis. Maybe it's the combination of pure sugar shot into my veins by marshmallow, brownie, and cookie dough, but these cookies are delicious.

Hayden Cafe at MIT serves sandwiches, salads, and non-alcoholic beverages. Seating is available in the courtyard and inside the hallway. Lovely ambiance. Located near the Hayden Library.

Great tasting food, very friendly staff. There's always a line of people eager to order here. Anyone saying the food is overpriced has never eaten food in Cambridge. $8-10 for a sandwich is below average pricing around here.- An actual MIT Student

Very overpriced. The barista will give you a half filled cup of coffee if she is tired or just not in the mood. Disappointing service for students!!

Basement is quieter if you need to GTD.
Nice library & open to all, but keep in mind that their open-door policy can be a security issue. Be wary of your stuff, seriously.
Check out the great views of Boston from the reading rooms on the first and second floors.
They have a pretty good selection of comics in the humanities section.
One of the hidden gems. If you've got an MIT ID there are some amazing books, movies and more to check out here.
