Had a wonderful dining experience at Henrietta's kitchen this Saturday with my hubby and son.
Hubby loved the scallops on special. I got the roasted chicken (a classic) and my son got the duck. We were all really happy with out meals.
Even though there is no GF labels on the menu, they were able to accommodate my Gluten allergy on almost anything on the menu.

This was a really bad experience. 4 of us in a half empty place that seemed expensive and we were totally ignored by the waiting staff. We waited 10 minutes and just up and left never to return.

We came for dinner at 6PM so we saw the transition from early birds to the beginning of the dinner crowd. Our server and the staff were generally very attentive and friendly.
With only 3 people at the bar we did wait about 10min for drinks which I personally didn’t mind but some might.
We got the duck breast and the pork chop, both were exceptionally cooked however the pork with sweet potato and cranberry sauce was a bit much towards the end of the dish.
What really killed it for me was the atmosphere. Understandably this is at the end of the day a hotel restaurant, but it felt a bit overdone with the “farm” vibe. Almost like if you told a Disney imagineer to make a farm themed restaurant. Also mid way through our meal there was a birthday celebration where the wait staff came over clapping singing happy birthday like we were crushing dollaritas at the local Chilis. It was a bit off putting..

Hadn't been to Henrietta's for some time. It still is an excellent place to meet for lunch. The food was the normal very good but I want to give a shout out to our server (unfortunately do not have her name). We were slow to order and eat and she hung in there with us. We never felt rushed by service. A strong contender in Harvard Square.
Had a lovely dinner here. Great staff and food. Nice patio dining!

What a disappointment. I remember Henrietta’s Table being the ultimate treat during my days as a Harvard student 10 years ago, especially when parents were in town. The farm-fresh produce and locally sourced ingredients were always a highlight, and you could truly taste the care and artistry in the food.
Fast forward to last night, when I brought my family for a celebratory dinner, and the experience was far from what I remembered. Half of our entrees arrived cold and had to be sent back to be reheated. Both the swordfish and salmon were overcooked and lacked the fresh, vibrant taste you would expect from such a reputable establishment. My duck breast, ordered medium, came well overdone. Our meals were bland. To top it off, we saw a mouse scurrying around the restaurant at the end of our meal.
Despite sharing these concerns with our server, we weren’t offered any form of compensation or apology. I am incredibly disappointed and, unfortunately, will not be returning.

I’ve decided to try Henrietta’s Table and was very pleased with my experience. The service was great and I was impressed with the healthy options. I’ve had the: Poached Eggs and Smoked Salmon on anadama bread with hollandaise sauce & fresh asparagus; which was very delicious!

I don’t know if we came at a bad time but the service and the food were pretty underwhelming for the price.
We were seated promptly and things were pretty straightforward initially. We told our server we needed a couple of minutes to decide on what to order, but she didn’t get back to us for 15 minutes. Another server took our drink orders, served them, and never attended us again. So we were very confused as to who to flag down. Eventually we had to call a different server.
We got the corn chowder, the pork chop and the duck breast, and it also took quite a while for the food to arrive. We assumed that maybe our entrees took the longest to prepare, but by the time they were out the other diners who came around the same time as us had already left. Corn chowder was pretty bland, and the pork chop was a little too dry. The duck, however, was cooked perfectly.
For what we paid for, we don’t plan on coming back. The ambience was pretty solid and we enjoyed the farm to table concept but the service really let us down tonight.

The staff was so lovely and attentive to our 16 month grandson. Got his dinner out right away, understanding the needs of a toddler and were gracious about the mess and noise he made!
Have eaten here countless times. Always able to depend on good food for cost and excellent service. Service remains quality. Spinach salad was terrible, using old, large, tough spinach difficult to cut and eat. Too much salad dressing. Spinach not suitable for salad, needed cooking. Always enjoy schrod with ritz crackers but potatoes were old, reheated. Was definitely not chefs standard quality.

Kind of disappointed after eating there several times over past year. Hope it was just a bad note. The bread was stale and the food was so-so. Just sharing since I really want to keep coming here!
Went here for a family dinner and it was amazing! The waiters and chefs were so kind, and gave us the best recommendations. We got the duck and burrata, both of which were a 10/10! Dessert was also delicious.

Henrietta's table in Harvard square, Cambridge, Massachusetts is a great place to go to have a casual dinner with friends. Easy walking distance from the center of Harvard square, relaxed atmosphere with lots of light from big windows and a pleasant and attentive staff. My personal favorite dish is the pot roast.
