Henrietta's Table was enjoyable, but not completely top notch. For example, we had to ask for lemon for the fish dishes we had, and there were no condiments served/offered with the tea other than honey. The extra plate provided with dessert in case we wanted to split it was not clean; it had something baked onto it.
Every time I told someone that I was going to Henrietta's Table, they had great things to say and even mentioned a favorite dish, so I already had high hopes before going and it did not disappoint. The service is wonderful, the food is delicious and the desserts were amazing. We shared salads, corn chowder, and bread for appetizers, all of which were great (the corn chowder was one of the favorite dishes mentioned to me by a friend). We have patronized the establishment for their Sunday Brunch several times. The past service experiences were fine. This visit, the service waitress was bare minium. Non attentive and had to wave down for service. Dirty dishes at the table stacked up before being removed. She passed by numerous times with no removal of dirty dishes. I, as the patron, should not have to cue to remove the obvious dirty dishes. Management needs to oversee their employees to ensure the level of service...
