This is, by far, the best bakery in all of greater Boston. Consistent and amazing for years. Sandwiches are awesome, though they take quite a while at lunch time. Soups are amazing. Pastries are delicious.
I used to frequent Hi Rise when it was on Mass Ave pre-pandemic. I loved the Thai iced tea and blueberry scone. 5+ years later, I finally made my way over to the Huron village location, and I'll definitely be back soon!

I am happy that I can get fresh sourdough bread here. That is actually not that expensive. The sandwiches and apple pies which I have bought here are overpriced. The sourdough bread is absolutely delicious and the pie is probably good if you don't eat it with resentment like I did! To have spent $17 on this small pie which fits in the palm of my hand and it has just some apples' slices was disappointing.
I recommend get the sourdough bread though!
