Disappointed honestly. The sandwich, coleslaw, and Mac were all lack luster. Chicken sandwich not very crispy with very minimal flavor, cole slaw and Mac were bland. Honestly Dave's is much better. Boston needs to step up their chicken sando game.

I really wanted this place to be good cuz I live down the street. I don't know how it has a 4.5 because the first and only time I went in there the chicken was like rubber it was disgusting I want to try it again but I'm afraid I'm going to have the same experience.

When I'm having a bad day, I get a glorious fried mushroom sandwich from Hot Chix and it immediately makes me feel better. Lusciously soft bun, perfectly crispy, spicy but not greasy mushroom, fresh cole slaw!! Got to share this place with some of my friends today and we got some delicious, well-seasoned fries waffle fries with the ultimate contrast of crispy exterior and pillowy, hot interior, and some of the best mac n cheese I've had nearby. Alex is such a joyful presence and also gifted us two (gorgeous, flaky, warm, buttery) honey butter biscuits. Grateful to live in a neighborhood with Hot Chix!

Ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich and lemon pepper wings with blue cheese dipping sauce for take out. I didn’t have to wait long for it. The service staff were really friendly! The blue cheese sauce was to die for. Very generous chunks of blue cheese inside. The wings were so crispy and the sandwich was not dry at all. 100% better than chick-fil-a.

Surprisingly friendly service for a fast-casual spot. Alex smiled every time he spoke with me and even thought to offer me water as I waited for my food. The hot chicken sandwich scratched the itch: juicy, crispy/crunchy, and even their mild has a bit of kick to it! Overall impressed by an experience that easily could have been mediocre but instead has me ready to come back.

the fries….were a crime….i probably just got a super bad batch…but they were pure CRUNCH. ROCK HARD HOLLOW, no soft potato in them at all 😭 like a empty shell…
Amazing fresh fried chicken! Would absolutely come again but next I will remember that they really bring the spice here. Had plain on the tenders and it was just perfect. Mild was a bit to much for me though I really can't do spice... the only criticism I'd have is the price but it is Boston after all. I really liked the sign in the window, but I think some might find it offensive.

I’ve been here before and had great food, unfortunately on Saturday something was off. Got a chicken sandwich. The bun was stale and the chicken was dry and overcooked. The old bay fries were also overcooked. Very disappointing considering they just won an award.
