The food was good, we ate it all. But what bothered me was that the tip was included. I know places when it’s more than 6 they automatically add it, but it was 4 of us. We ordered a meal and a drink each. Just a quick lunch. The server quickly said ‘sign and the tip is there’ charged 18%, he lost out a bit, because we tend to leave 20%. Can it be that people don’t tip or give leave a small amount, and he decided to include it in the total. It didnt say suggested, it was added.

1 other table being served, all others empty. The menus were left by the host, 8 minutes later the server approached the table. We ordered a breakfast with bacon and a turkey sandwich. Food arrived, looked good/smelled good. One bite of the bacon had us wondering if it was precooked much earlier. Floppy, tough, chewy. All else on the breakfast plate was good. Turkey sandwich had same floppy, tough, chewy bacon. Minimal turkey in 1-2 inch pieces, very thin. The tomato was 4 1-inch cherry tomatoes, cut in half and one of those was soured. French fries were either reheated from the lunch service or the restaurant needs a better vendor with better quality fries. About 4:20, though our section was empty when we got there and only one other table was seated after we arrived, a different employee chose to sweep that section, including under the tables. We finished eating, then waited and waited and waited for our plates to be removed and our check to be brought, perhaps even a tea refill. After some time, we went to the host stand to ask for our check. Host notified server, who had only one other table. Server brought the check to where we were standing and waiting. I noted the amount and handed the server cash over the amount - two twenties. Server returned with the paper money (change), pulled off one bill and handed me the rest, appearing to intend to keep some of my change for other purpose? tip? donation? I wanted to enjoy my lunch. The sandwich should have been good. Biting into a soured cherry tomato and endlessly chewing limp bacon, picking through the fries to find the least limp and chewy was not a great lunch. The idea was great, but the execution was dreadful.

You’re literally what is wrong with America now. That could have brought in people to your nasty restaurant… instead it’s bringing in negative attention 🤗

We love IHOP but we just left the Kingsport location at 10:15p.m. along with 6 other waiting customers as the waitress and cook and all employees had walked out of the 24/7 location. They weren't even there when we arrived. Doors unlocked, everything on. We were told by other customers at their table that the waitress would be right back, she had to run an errand. The restaurant literally has no one responsible for it right now. We were looking forward to eating there but unfortunately, this is obviously very unprofessional. The restaurant wasn't full, only 2 couples eating. One couple was literally getting their own drinks. What has happened to what was once my favorite place?

No more specail menu at my location. Food little weak on taste. Bit slow too I think. Guess it be a while until I crave Ann ihop meal. But one thing good and nice quiet and non crowded. It be no suprise if that location fail soon lol. Had fate in you guys once not much anymore I guess lol.

I go to the ihop in sanford florida and bree is a young and strong excellent waitress, she never complains even if we do and she has always earned her big tips from us since we are difficult customers- the food is delicious and affordable- try the sirloin tips with extra mushrooms and onions and God and Jesus love you!
Horrible accommodation. Unless you're willing to spend money, you can't even use the bathroom. Manager (Christian) is less than friendly and helpful. Thats why that place is always dead. Go somewhere else with better staff and less expensive prices on much better tasting food that isn't pre-made factory crap.

Today, Saturday, January 25, 2025, we came to eat at 11:30 in the morning, there was not enough staff, 15 minutes to take our order, 40 to serve us, and there were no companions for the dish I ordered, and they tell me that since They deliver it 20 minutes later, malisisismo service today not waiters, or cooks. I have never been so disappointed in this place, I hope they change the service or close it if they are not prepared
