This restaurant has qualities I have never experienced in an Indian restaurant. See through kitchen and buffet. Is thoroughly clean, even the kitchen, and the service was quick. I was able to start eating within 2 minutes of arriving. ALL the food was just coccked and very tasty. The vibe allowed me to escape the city and have a peaceful meal.

Food variety for the lunch buffet was great. My only complaint is the vegetable pakora was cold.

Tried their buffet, nothing special, Tanduri chicken was smelly. And every other thing’s taste was very average. Item was not that many. Other than the food their service was good.

If you like a cold buffet, this is your spot. This place used to be great, been going here since the 2000s, but when I brought up the fact that the food was cold, I was given a bill for $17.

Went for the weekday lunch buffet - $15.99 per person. Very mediocre food, not super flavorful or hot. Soft floppy naan. Plenty of veg options. Not unexpected for buffets, but maybe the a la carte is better. Decor and vibes are nice.

I had a wonderful experience at Indian Pavilion. I ordered a thali along with samosas, and everything was delicious except for the Shahi Paneer, which was a bit on the sweeter side for my taste. The puris were especially impressive, as they seemed to be made with whole wheat flour rather than maida.

What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The owner personally served the thali in a thoughtful sequence, starting with the soup and appetizers, followed by the main thali, and ending with a delightful dessert.

Food is good and service is kind. They have us extra rice after we asked to take the sauce to go!

Indian Pavilion has the best lunch buffet in all of Cambridge. The food is plentiful, with many dishes to choose from, and every dish is delicious. We have eaten there many times, and the quality has always been exceptional. I couldn't recommend it more highly!

Seven of us went for the lunch buffet. There was good variety, the food was hot, plenty of vegetarian options, 3 different chicken dishes, 3 desserts, and salad. The staff were pleasant and they kept our water glasses filled with cool water. At $15.99 per person it was a good deal. The food tastes good and the mango lassi (not included with the buffet) was delicious.

Parking: There are 2 small public lots behind the restaurant on Green Street. $1.25 per hour on weekdays, 2 hour limit.

I cant lie. I have been eating from here since college back in the 90's. They have the best indian food in the greater Boston area. I and my family eat from there frequently. The food is consistently great. So much so that I drive 40 minutes from Dorchester to Central Square Cambridge for take out.
