Went in to get some cookies, spoke to a boy named Gevonn. My cookies were horribly dry and overbaked. Service is generally very good, I come here often, but when he is on shift the cookies are always crumbly and dry.

It's been a while since I've been to Insomnia Cookies. Friends and I decided to grab some cookies while walking by. Oatmeal chocolate walnut - so dry and hard it was inedible. Chocolate peanut butter - also dry and crumbly. Double chocolate mint -the one of the three that was somewhat soft and edible. I appreciate that the cookies will get hard in the warmer, but why on earth would you try to sell them when they are so hard they do not even break easily. Back to Crumbl in Central Square.

I ordered over 200 cookies to be delivered to two sites in Cambridge for a big event at work. My order was OVER TWO HOURS LATE. I called the store multiple times. When the cookies were already a half hour late, I called and the store rep asked me if it was okay to replace some of the cookies in my order with a different kind since they were out of some, meaning HE HADN"T EVEN BAKED ALL THE COOKIES YET. I said fine and called back another hour later (cookies now 1.5 hours late) and he said he was just finishing the cookies and the driver was ready to go. From there it was another half hour until the driver even left with my cookies. Absolutely unacceptable. This delayed an important company event for me and was not a good look at all. This is an atrocious way to run a business. I have a vary poor impression of insomnia cookies after this experience.

Cookies and brownies are always good but there’s always something wrong with my order I’m not sure if it’s staff or the bakers but im always missing a team or my cookie always looks like it’s been taken almost a third of the cookie like if someone bit it. It’s kind of upsetting cause I come a hour away for overpriced cookies but it’s always something wrong.
I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Insomnia. I went there with friends on a good weather day on Friday, thinking I were to get absolutely excellent cookies. Turned out to be one of the worst services I ever got. The lady at the counter was extremely lazy and rude and she kicked us out, along with college students and tourists because she was "on break". She said her "break" will end in 15 minutes. When we entered in 15 minutes, she was so rude about it and it turned out her "break" was 45 minutes long!! We were lucky there was a comic book shop around us so there was at least something else to do. Also, the atmosphere in there was pretty dark, messy, and compact with no place to sit (inside or outside). We were lucky there was a park nearby. Then when her so called "break" was over, we went in and she was rushing I didn't know for what, she did a horrible job and these "reputable" Insomnia cookies that were supposed to be delicious turned out to taste so bad! Because of such lazy staff!! What an absolutely horrible place to go, Insomnia ruined my good weather Friday! Never going there again! Don't go there, it will also ruin your good Fridays, you surely don't want that, do you? Where's my Cookie Monstah? Go there instead, they make much better cookies with much better service.
