I visited this place last year and a couple times previously. Things have changed - I was charged for gluten free rolls - a first for me as the gluten sensitivity isn’t a personal choice. Other places usually just swap it out one bread for another. The burger was ok, they didn’t have any non dairy cheese options to add to it.

Man! I made the huge mistake of going to a different bar, and I'm on my way to the one and only Joe Sent Me of Cambridge.
This bar is like Cheers. Everyone knows your name! Not just the bartenders, but even the regulars.
I stumbled into this bar about 6 months ago and have been coming 2-3 times a week. I usually get their quesadilla, wings, or anything on the sat brunch (can't go wrong on that menu).
I left for about 2 months on vacation and when I returned the Owmer, Sandy shook my hand and asked where I had been! I felt very appreciated and welcomed. Jen & Steph are great bartenders and will remember your drink after two visits or less!
I don't leave bad reviews, but I will definitely not be going back to that other bar.

Best neighborhood spot! The staff is the absolute friendliest, shout out to Jen & Steph for their incredible service! The food is delicious, I go every week as I live nearby and am never tired of the selections.My personal favs are the buffalo chicken sliders with ranch. Honestly, even if the food was subpar I'd still go because I love the staff that much but luckily it's 5 stars all around. Thanks!

We've been there eight times since moving in nearby. My wife has gotten the Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich five of those. I, too have had it, and it's delicious. This is chicken done perfectly: lightly batter fried, a flavorful sauce and excellent cole slaw. I'm trying to try the entire menu. Love the burgers (big selection), fries, tator tots, Cuban sandwich ... pretty much everything, including a fabulous Winter Salad. The cook qualifies as a chef. The staff are super friendly and the ambience is classic corner neighborhood pub. When you visit, just say, Rich Sent Me.

I let him my 11 year old son order his food by phone to learn a thing outside of the school curriculum. When we picked the food up, a woman working at the bar politely explained which receipt he should keep and gave hm a compliment that he was polite and dealt with his order perfectly. She is always very kind, friendly and warm. We will go to the restaurant next time for dinner!!! The burger was also really delicious he said! Thank you for your hospitality!
I am handicapped and have been denied service here and that was the reason given. Please straighten me out on Massachusetts law and how much "influence" does a server have to deny service? This applies only to Elizabeth.

A timeless classic, I've been coming here since I was a freshman in highschool and I just recently graduated college, and I have no plans on stopping that tradition. If you're in the mood for a traditional American pub with great drink selection and killer food you couldn't have picked a better spot!

It's my local pub so I might be a tad biased but Joe's is a great spot. The bartenders are awesome and the kitchen turns out surprisingly good food for a pub. I especially like the Haddock sandwich. After moving back home to NoCam from LA the prices are down right cheap compared to what I was used to.
